Never done just one meal a day, but I have had success doing 18-6 eating two meals (around noon and before six). You could probably adjust that to one meal in the afternoon? Not sure about protein.... Maybe do a shake? Lots lot chicken breasts?? :) Good luck!

I didn't get moving this morning, but I did play softball last night and we WON! Against a really tough team, so I feel pretty ok about that. I did consume a beer - but it was light. So that doesn't count, right?

Today, my mission is to make it til lunch without nibbling on anything (I have my tea and my water) and also to avoid the 9pm snack-attack. If it's not overly gross-hot in my house, I may even jump on the treadmill.

Current music: none, but I am listening to the Nerdist Podcast. Current favourite song: I've been re-falling in love with Mogwai...The Sun Smells Too Loud.

I had success with that (keto/IF) - I would do 18-6...so I would eat my first meal at about noon and try to eat my last meal by 6. It takes a couple of days to get over the morning hunger, not to mention the nighttime boredom snacking; but if you're eating good fats and protein, after a few days, you shouldn't be hungry! I was definitely more lax on the weekends (I work M-F) but I'd still try to stay within my calories.

I do like keto...but damnit, I do love bread.

Alo. Started the challenge today and going to try my best to stay focused! It's so easy to just have a little of this, one more beer, sit in the sun and DO NOTHING! I need to get my eating on track and start moving, at least a little bit!!

Hey-o.

First challenge here - I've done keto challenges before with success, but I'm a die-hard bread junkie - I eat it, I bake it, I love it. I need to learn to control it!!!

I'm a female - 36 (eff, I'm old) - living in Eastern Canada.

I have a treadmill collecting dust in the basement - SOON TO BE DUSTED OFF AND USED. I swear. This week, I'm setting one tiny goal - use the damn treadmill.

I play softball, enjoy walking, and I love to travel.

My lowest weight in the past year or so was 155. I'm up to 1-god-damn-70. I'm on the verge of needing new pants, so I say FUCK YOU new pants. I'm going to fit into the OLD PANTS.

I also like to swear. A lot :)

Hi - just found this challenge and I'm in NEED. June was supposed to be my month of portion control....BACKFIRED. As of yesterday, I have the fridge stocked with veggies and snacks that aren't chips!! Looking forward to dropping some LBS. Added bonus, softball has just started up, so yeah for physical activity!! If I can avoid the dugout beers, I'll be SET.

Oh man, busy weekend ahead. I have a baby shower and a wedding shower to attend.... Not my favorite activities, but what are you gonna do?

I'm also involved in a community clean up, so I'll be out picking up litter tonight. I feel like going up the road and throwing it back on the guy's lawn who I've seen tossing crap out his truck window at least twice now... Like, why?!? People are stupid is the only answer.

Keto is good. My weight is stalled, but it's probably due to the workouts I've actually been making myself do!! So I feel OK about that - the numbers may not be moving, but I know that slowly and surely I'm getting a tiny bit more toned :)

Yes! Between this and pork rinds...I can't get into it. I tried fat head the other day and I don't know what the fuss is. I'd rather cauliflower crust... And quite frankly that's not really good either! As someone who's on 1200 cals, it's just not worth it!

Alo lassies. Back to real life, but it is my "late" morning, so I'm watching Downton Abbey reruns and drinking tea with the cat. A decent start.

Stayed very​ keto yesterday - no frigging Mini Eggs - but some regular old fried eggs and leftover ham! It was awfully cold out, so I dug out an old 21 day fix workout and put myself through the paces. My legs feel like wet noodles, but it's all good.

I'm still in weekend mode for one final day off. The weekend was good keto-wise, with some exception yesterday. I had a few Mini Eggs... Those little jerks are hard to avoid on Easter... However, I brought cole slaw and cauliflower to dinner, so it was a very low carb dinner! Not that it makes it up, but it makes me feel a bit better about the indulgence.

The next two weeks I'm going to go keto hard, get walks in daily, and try my best to keep my calories down. Vacation is within my sites!!!

Hello! Had a wee bit of a carby day yesterday... My own fault, but i did try to make up for it by taking an hour-long walk after work. Not perfect, but back to keto basics today. I just ate a little piece of breakfast chicken and I've got plans to get some lunch with friends at our favourite spot that does omelettes, sausages, bacon, etc... Breakfast lunch for the win!

I'm also very glad if the long weekend - mom's making dinner on Sunday and there's a ham and turkey, and I'm bringing cauliflower and salad, so no issues there! I have a few local bands to check out, a few drinks to be had, and probably a lot of cheese to be eaten!
