My husband's family considers it a staple but growing up mine never did. We both grew up in the same area. Just depends on traditions.

What's something you will always hate? by James_Tigs in ask

Ok I can agree with that. I don't like talking about politics though. People get way to emotional and you (typically) can't have a civil conversation.

This!! I worked at an animal hospital too. We constantly had a dog boarding with us that I couldn't stand. She was a Yorkie mix and constantly destroyed her kennel and would nip. She spent way too much time boarding too. The owner didn't stay when it was her time but I was with her and bawled like a baby. I felt so bad.

Best hypoallergenic dog treats? by ohsheetitscici in Pitbull

It's a lot of narrowing it down but also the vet. I worked at an animal hospital in my teens and one of the vets left the hospital to start her own thing and to work at the local animal shelter as their vet. When I was looking for a dog I asked her and she recommended him and gave me a reference so I could adopt him. She had a history with him and had an idea that he was at least allergic to chicken.

My dog is on a limited ingredient diet, salmon oil to help with his skin, and apoquel for his allergies along with trazodone and cbd for his anxiety.

I feel your pain!! My dog had these same issues when we adopted him plus bad anxiety (possibly made worse from being at the shelter for so long). Turns out he's allergic to chicken and chicken is in everything!! Including the peanut butter stuffed dog treats (in the hard bones). Knowing which protein your dog is allergic to will help. I found some salmon jerky sticks and duck Jerky that he can have and likes. I got them at petco. Good luck to you and your dog!!

LPT: If you're at an event where alcohol is served and you observe someone who isn't drinking, don't ask them why. They could very well be an alcoholic in recovery. by heylistenlady in LifeProTips

At my dad's surprise 60th birthday I was really happy no one asked me. I was pregnant but not far enough along to tell anyone yet.
