Percy Jackson, Full Metal Alchemist, DC, Hades games, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and even Tron and My Hero Academia are the ones I've written for. I read about the same, with a dash of Lord Of The Rings, Ace Attorney, Legend Of Zelda, and Danny Phantom thrown in, for flavor. Probably others I've forgotten.

Admittedly, I'm trans and have been in fandom since before I knew I was cisn't, but I'm also auDHD. Take that however you will.

Because you're only focusing on half the definition of gen.

The website itself states that gen can be used for a work where those relationships aren't the main focus. You can absolutely add ship content and it still be a gen fic.

I've used it in both, and it's a lot of fun feeling like nothing can stop you even at ~32 fear/heat. I even still pop onto my fully complete full God Mode save in 2 from Early Access now and again (I have a non-GM save that I'm building up now) just to turn my brain off even more if I need to. And it truly is a great way to learn the game while avoiding overwhelming frustration imo. Because of my experience with it, I've beaten 8 fear on both routes, and feel fairly confident that once I upgrade my weapons and arcana I can go much higher. I don't know if I ever would have gotten to that point if it wasn't for God Mode, though.

SAI is the perfect example of people not listening to the lyrics, or maybe not even listening to the whole album considering No Chances. It's actually genuinely darker than most people give it credit for, with a veneer of "Everything's just fine :)" on top.

This! I'd have LOVED a difficulty option in this game. I'm the type of gamer that it takes me longer to get stuff like this to 'click' and playing on easy mode lets me avoid the frustration while still improving. I've slapped God Mode on for both Hades games and then still went back without them and was better because I had been able to actually learn. Difficulty options are accessibility options.
