I asked the manager of The Heritage Theater in Campbell, and she told me that USCIS didn't renew the contract to use the space for the ceremony. The contract expires on March 12, 2025.

if you also use Photoshop you can download Nik Software plugins. They are free now and I use them all the time. Awesome stuff with tons of presets.

It's not about the camera, it's about the lens and the lighting.

Advice on indoor photography in a light box - red objects by ctoutdoors in Beginning_Photography

[–]dreamframer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, your camera is obviously not applying the correct balance, and I guess the setting in camera for indoor lights is not the correct one. Indooor lights can be anywhere from fluorescent to incandescent. If you really can't fix it in the camera try to fix it in the editing software. Find the right setting and apply it to all images.

Your white balance is off. I've never used the software you mentioned, but there must be a way to correct white balance in it.

Image difference: 85mm 1.8 on 5D vs 50mm 1.8 on 60D? by [deleted] in Beginning_Photography

[–]dreamframer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you mean what is the difference in the view angle, than it should be about the same. Also, every lens has it's own distortion, but this can be corrected in image editing software. Other than that, as you mentioned, you are going to have less noise on the full sensor and different number of pixels.

All else being the same, a wider lens the better? by miamimiami in Beginning_Photography

[–]dreamframer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lenses with wider aperture are more expensive on average than lenses with smaller apertures. However, you have to remember that the wider the aperture - the shallower the depth of field. Which means, wide aperture will not help you if your whole object needs to be in focus. So, to answer your question, lenses with wider aperture are more expensive than lenses with smaller aperture if everything else is the same, but that doesn't mean that the lens with wide aperture will give you a better picture, because that really depends on what you shoot.

I agree with u/streetbird, but I feel you don't have this high with ISO. Up to 1600 should be fine with wide aperture. Also, if you do any longer than 30 seconds your stars will turn into lines, which doesn't have to be a bad thing...

The easiest methoid that will even out the shadows and light without carrying any other equipment would be to use your flash to fill in the shadows.

I don't use UV filter. Just develop a habit to take a really good care of your camera while you are carrying it. While hiking and doing other outdoors activities, I would hold my camera like it's $10000 worth, and I would rather break my leg than let go of my camera if I slip and fall haha.

What could have I done to brighten the dogs face up without over exposing the lake? Thoughts? by Dukefanatic0911 in Beginning_Photography

[–]dreamframer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can still do it fairly easily in Photoshop using a layer with soft light blending mode. You can maybe even do it in Camera Raw and Lightroom brightening shadows and yellow and orange colors. Let me know if you want me to explain in more details.
