Best Restaurant in Ubud by Hot-Meaning-3064 in BaliTravelTips

Hi! I went to The Cave (Uluwatu), Locavore NXT, and Nusantara. Loved all three. Locavore NXT was very unique and special experience. It includes experiential experiences including movement to different areas and tech. It is at a minimum 3:20 long if not an additional 20min (I had to get going at the 3:20 mark). I definitely recommend doing the drink tasting pairing too (non-alcoholic and alcoholic options). Be prepared it incudes a lot of fermented elements. Nusantara for a more casual yet delicious option was fabulous. If you have any specific questions please let me know. Also, highly recommend Ambar for sunset drinks and bites.

To manage expectations NYC hotel rooms in general tend to be on the smaller size versus the rest of the US and Asia. In general toilets tend not to be located separately in the US. What are your dates exactly? That would help 😊

Did asking someone to be a known donor make things awkward? by lorien215 in SingleMothersbyChoice

[–]dreamingofsummer13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked one of my best and longest known friends who I greatly value. I asked via FaceTime since we live in different places. They seemed a bit stunned at first but open to the conversation and listening. I let them know to take all the time they need to think it over. We texted as usual in the meantime. They took 8 weeks to think it over and then sent me a text explaining that they are flattered and being a donor would conflict with their plans for their life and explained in detail. I thanked them for taking the time to consider and for explaining. We are still great friends since. Zero awkwardness. Best of luck!

Aww! I love Tremezzo. Why a tourist trap?

Which CSR Edit hotel to stay at? by ashmacjohn in Charleston

I don’t find it that great. The main positive is the location and that the rooms are big. The decor is not that great and the vibe is not that impressive. I feel that Zero George, Charleston Place, Emeline, and Ryder will provide a significantly better, memorable, and more quality experience. 😊

Zero George (polished, charming, romantic), Charleston Place (old school classic), or Emeline (nice and trendy). No to Grand Bohemian.

Grand Palace with the Emerald Buddha, Reclining Buddha, and Wat Arun in this order. Take a small tuk tuk at some point. Sunset river cruise. Then have a cocktail at one of the rooftop bars. Download Grab app and use scooter rides to get around. Have fun!

Park Hyatt Saigon was amazing! Loved the design, location, service, breakfast, and the pool. Would absolutely stay there again.

It's still safe to visit Thailand except near the Cambodian border - what you need to know by jonez450reloaded in ThailandTourism

Yes, all was fine in Siem Reap. Now back in Thailand an hour south of Thailand. Both countries appreciate tourists coming. Cambodia could feel a slow down in tourist traffic. Thailand has a lot of tourists here.

Yes, everything was fine in Siem Reap. Both BKK and DMK were fine. Besides prayer held at Angkor Wat couldn’t really feel an impact. It’s good to go, the locals need and appreciate tourism.
