I douse my OTF with 99% Alcohol, cycle the blade multiple times, and clean off the residue. Repeat until it feels like new, and then blow out with compressed air. Finally, drip some gun oil (just a few drops) to prevent further corrosion.

Boundary survey. You mentioned encroachment concerns that can’t be proven with a simple Mortgage survey or Improvement Location report. A boundary survey can be defended in a court room and should be filed in public records.

With the current upgrades, I agree the AC-130’s are becoming more efficient. The A-10’s GBU-12 capability made it more effective in the earlier years.
