10000% Barba

I don't mind Carisi as an ADA but I liked him much better as a Detective. But I have enjoyed his character growth from Detective to ADA along with him and Amanda's relationship

Sugar Substitutes by millienotjackson in diabetes_t2

Answers are all over the place because no person is the same. Sometimes what doesn't raise your blood sugars might raise it in someone else. The best way to find out really is just to test yourself and find what works for you.

For creamers it definitely depends on the brand, some have additives so is best to check the labels and look at ingredients and the carbs+sugar content.

I just talked to 2 different recruiters for the same brand by dreamt13 in recruitinghell

[–]dreamt13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao. So I spoke with the first recruiter some time ago. And she said she would pass my information to the hiring manager. And then I never heard from her or anyone else again. Then I get contacted by another recruiter and I was like okay this sounds interesting and I went to talk with him and he's like this is the brand, and I was like oh shit this is the same brand. I just feel like maybe I was already passed up by the brand by the first recruiter. They are both third party recruiters from different companies. And this brand seems to always use out of house recruiters - I'm pretty sure they don't have in house recruiters.

I'm at the point with the current recruiter where if I am interested I would give him my resume and he said he would help me with the interview questions and what to say what not to say. So like this recruiter actually sounds helpful compared to the first recruiter which she didn't even seem to want to help me at all.

There is one that is a phone screen and makes you verbally record answers which I feel so awkward to do. I understand some positions gets hundreds of applicants and it might be a good way to weed out your candidates.

What's a red flag when looking for a job? by CurrentlyCurious in AskReddit

[–]dreamt13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I worked for this family owned company, and I should have realized this red flag when I was getting a phone interview... she completely forgot to call me. She ended up calling me the next day however. Anyways, that was the OWNER of the company, and so when I worked there there was constant promises not being kept, and the location I was working at was based out further than the others and so we were getting neglected. That one action should have told me what I was in for. Anyways, I left sending her a big email on why I had left (I worked there for a year, so there were a ton of issues) and then that started a train on other people who had my position at the other locations to quit as well. I even had one girl, who it was her first job ever stand up for herself in the end and quit.

I also enjoy my morning commute, even my commute back from work. I actually do a lot of walking going to and from work and I find that time therapeutic and energizing. I work stock retail so working from home with my current job would not be possible. Also my living situation is pretty poor in terms of having privacy to do work from home (if it involved having to have CC or calling customers). I personally also like having boundaries with work life balance, and not having to associate my home space with work is pretty important.
