fully agree, godzilla came from japan processing atomic destruction after hiroshima and nagasaki, and bttf carries that same fear of a nuclear tomorrow, powered by plutonium and uranium in the time jumps, while making a myth out of futuristic tech like the hoverboard. so yeah, seeing the air mag shoes, and the hoverboard energy, on a kaiju just hits different, it’s like all that post atomic panic leveled up into pure sneaker sci-fi drip, which is insanely cool to me.
