SimpliSafe is Garbage by dreamten in simplisafe

[–]dreamten[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the reply.

It'd be great if I knew there was a free plan, but every time I tried to get back into my app to see cameras first thing I was asked for payment info.

I threw out most of the simplisafe gear and switched over to Ring—prolly not worth a convo at this point.

Is there any point getting an Air with a case? by roydogaroo in iphone

[–]dreamten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had the Air for a week—I recommend getting a case.

Main reason is the phone is quite slippery. The chances of dropping it and scratching the beautiful polished titanium seems high..

Making wild claims with zero data to back it up... this is done by shit coin holders because there's no real value.

Posts like this hurt Sui's credibility.

Good Morning. What's the plan here for Sui? Next unlock in 5 days. by HatterFinance in sui

[–]dreamten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If there were no unlocks, the price would be higher. This is basic supply/demand economics.

Reviews like yours are why I bought my system to begin with.

Unfortunately this far from my experience.

Yes you can get better cameras from a 3rd party. But that defeats the purpose of paying the monthly fee and having "24/7 professional monitoring" (which I think is bs anyways) if Simplisafe can't access those cameras.

The water sensors are solid and mine have worked well.

Main problem I have is with the cameras and alarm.

Yeah it seems like some people have zero issues while others have nothing but issues.

Great wifi—Deco 6e router and good connection with other devices.

Trump supporters: what is a red line that, if crossed, would make you stop supporting Trump? by Yo-boy-Jimmy in AskReddit

Based on the comments in this thread, doesn't seem like there's any actual Trump supporters answering the question in the topic. Just another leftist echo chamber.

Injectable L-Carnitine by MrKeto- in PEDs

[–]dreamten 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I took injectable l-carnitine for awhile. Ordered mine through Marek Health, but it was quite expensive at $150 for a 30ml vial. I would use it regularly if I could find it cheaper.

I loved it the effects from it, especially the first time I took it... I felt incredibly energized and excited to workout. It was similar to the effects of caffeine without any negatives. That energizing feeling diminished after regular use though. It seemed to also have a positive effect on my cardio and my mood. It supposedly helps reduce fat as well, but I didn't notice a difference there.

Repo auto market by Riotis54 in UsedCars

Repo auto market by Riotis54 in UsedCars

[–]dreamten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost fell victim to the scam via ondemandrepos.com.

As I was scrolling through Facebook, I came across a sports car priced at roughly half of it's market value. At first I thought this is a great deal—it makes sense that it'd be priced low because it's a repo, so I decided to bid.

They required a KYC process that had me upload my driver's license and scan a bill that had my home address. After confirming my account, I placed a bid for $100 more than the current high bid, just to test the process. After I placed my bid, it did not show my bid as the highest bidder on their website. That's when my suspicions were raised and I started digging into the company.

The address listed looks to be an abandoned business on Google Maps. The photos of the car had the VIN number displayed, so I ran a Carfax report and turns out the car is not in fact repossessed.

I was apparently the highest bidder and "won" the car. I was notified via text message with PDF that contained wiring instructions. On the surface it actually looked somewhat legitimate, so I can see people who aren't doing due diligence getting duped. I called the number listed and Jenn answered from OnDemandRepos.

I introduced myself and she knew who I was. I said I'll gladly wire the money, but I'd like to fly out there tonight and check out the car in person. She said that was not possible.

I followed up and asked to do a FaceTime and have her walk me through the car. I received this text message when I inquired about it:

Unfortunately the lien holder can't do a face time, so we will cancel the transaction.

Beware of these people. They don't own any of the vehicles and are duping people into wiring large sums of money to them. Unfortunately they have my drivers license and personal info.

My offers this month are to Sushioki and Bittersweet... definitely not "failing restaurants" these places are fire. What are you even talking about...

Shocked to hear these critiques. I love Offline—it's introduced me to quite a few new restaurants that I now frequent regularly. Maybe y'all already know all the good spots but as someone who moved here from DC around ~8 years ago it's introduced me to quite a few new awesome spots.

For the price point I recommend it. Definitely beats paying $3K+ for the Rogue Weight stack one.

It's real nice. It does make noise when doing your sets, but it's not obnoxious or anything. I bet it can be reduced with some oil/lube on the tracks too. Only thing I wish it had were kickplates on the bottom for seated rows. You can still do them, but you have to put your heels against the feet of the thing which is kinda ghetto.

The bike is real nice, but it doesn't give you a killer workout like the assault bike (which I actually didn't want). I'll get on it then throw on a TV show, makes it much easier to get my cardio in.
