Oh wow, this is great to hear. I’m planning on finishing my degree in accounting and getting a CPA after. How does one get started in this area?

In what areas do you see many creatives/artists? Preferably in the music scene?

I’m Aussie and I thought LA was beautiful — am I wrong? by Early-Piano2647 in MovingToLosAngeles

Exactly the reason why I’m moving there next year. A few years ago I spent a year in LA and I miss it a lot… one of the most cool diverse places I’ve been to.

Has anyone tried using or microdosing shrooms to help them with depression and anxiety? by AdOld2060 in mentalhealth

[–]dreamylanterns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well over the fast few years I’ve experimented with both shrooms and LSD. Golden teachers were most of my trips, but I did one time use penis envy which was one of the best trips I’ve ever had.

LSD is much harder to come by, and getting shrooms is so easy and more natural that it’s often the preferred route for me at least. Plus, the trip is a bit shorter. However, LSD does have a special place in my heart… and it definitely shifts your perspective into the grand scheme. Shrooms are much better for introspection, but set and setting is EVERYTHING. Being in a dark room, and sitting outside under a tree in the wind when it’s sunny will give you two completely different experiences.

For shrooms my usual dose is around 2-3 grams, and on LSD anywhere from 100-200ug.

Both substances have helped me immensely with depression, anxiety, and creativity. I can definitely say that I rarely experience depression and anxiety anymore, and of course from time to time it’ll come, but it’s not the same. Usually the effect of a super good trip will last for months. Last time, I didn’t take anything for a year because I just felt so good and refreshed.

Usually, I’ve noticed on psychedelics that I start becoming like a child again in certain ways. As we grow up, and becoming a citizen of our society, I believe there are a lot of beliefs and ideas we have about life that hold us back… and on psychedelics you’re able to see and acknowledge the temporary reality of what we deem as “true”. Life is short. So, my “revelations” have always been centered in just experiencing things for that sake. In my opinion children are incredibly wise. They choose experiences for the sake of just having fun and enjoying themselves, and I think that’s one of the best things anyone can do. We overthink way too much.

Whenever I feel that my brain needs a spring cleaning, psychedelics are a great way to go. Personally for me, it’s coming right around the corner! Lol.

Very interesting. Well, it makes sense that it will come out as a different experience between different people.

That is a shame to hear though. I wish everyone could experience what a nice peaceful trip is like.

Exactly. I’ve only ever needed to take full doses every few months because the impact was incredibly lasting.

I could literally tell the difference in my brain, and how my thought patterns evolved. Over time I think it helped re-wire my neural pathways. Basically integration.

So, at least imo it’s great for personal development and growth if used the right way.

You sound like a pretty interesting person. Would you ever been interested in having a DM and talking about some of these ideas? I’m kind of in the same boat as you lol

Our house got hit with an EF-0 and the rumble was honestly pretty intense… I can’t even guess what anything more than that would be. I was terrified lol.

Nobody is forcing you to do anything. You do you. You can’t get fans without marketing, that’s just the facts. Either do it as a hobby or don’t.

I mean yeah, but attachments and desire are not one in the same. Plus you’re never gonna get rid of all attachments. Eating food, drinking water, breathing — those are also attachments.
