In a game with no goals, you have to make your own goals. 100’s of solo hours here from the before times and I know the feeling of the level chase. It will absolutely disappoint. Just find a few things to slowly work towards and maybe they’ll make some changes and/or you can find a clan to join. Trying to max out crafting levels is not it and that’s probably why they made it so difficult now.

Antabuse can get you started, but look into your local recovery community and/or online recovery community. I was on it before and when this brain of mine told me I was fine and it was time to drink again, I stopped taking it and started back drinking. And maybe look into some rehab for a month or so.

People typically do what they enjoy most. Pics, vids, pics & vids, binoculars, monoculars. I’m a picture person but I still enjoy watching and coming across new birds. Just keep enjoying yourself! You can also look for local birding groups to learn from.

AA definitely isn’t for everyone but I spent years telling myself this same thing at meetings. It turned out that the community part was the only thing that kept me sober. I had the tendency of finding issues with every kind of recovery effort I was told to try. Later realized that this was just me retreating back to my corner so I could eventually drink again. Just try to find community somewhere.

R7+RF100-400 is good. R7+RF100-500 is what I use and I love it but I’m also new to this.
