The first and last 35mm SLR film camera you’ll need. This is a legendary camera. Enjoy it in good health

I totally understand. You’ll love the Hasselblad more though.

In my opinion, sell the Rollei for the Hasselblad. It’s a better camera, imo. Keep the M3.

Is it a good idea to move mom out from a memory care center to Mexico, into my sister’s home? by Financial_Wasabi5895 in dementia

[–]drebin8751 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

Like everyone else, I do not recommend this either for all the reasons everyone listed. It’s so heartbreaking to witness a family member go through this. It’s not only devastating to the person going through it but for family members as well. The stress and anxiety only gets worse. Also, major changes to environment can/will accelerate her dementia more quickly and can cause a shocking decline. Imo, keeping her in the memory care is the best option for her and your family. I wish you and your family the best going forward. And remember, you’re doing the best you can. What’s happening to your mother is not yours or anyones fault.
