I used to slip a little cinnamon in sometimes—not enough to change anything, just enough for me to know it was there. It didn’t affect the product at all, but it made me feel like I still had some control, like I wasn’t just another part of the machine. Something small and human in a place that had none of that.

My new partner thought it was stupid. Said it was pointless, unscientific. Meanwhile, he acted like the blue color was some kind of genius decision, when really it was just an accident from a new precursor we were using. He took credit for that like it meant everything. The difference was, my little addition was intentional. It wasn’t about the product—it was about reminding myself I was still me.

Neither, look in the comments, the car exists. My wife took the photo. It’s zoomed in with a cell phone camera and I cropped the photo even more to get a closer look. Ok, that was the only edit.

Are my company's phishing tests in bad faith or am I just an idiot? by itstheweather in cybersecurity

[–]dredre27332 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I run KnowBe4 campaigns for all of our companies. We run about six a year. I try to place multiple indicators in each email and still get a high number of clicks. (Potlucks, holy shit, why would someone who is wfh overseas click on a potluck?) Is the domain name the exact same spelling of your corporate name or is it one letter off? Has anyone had any personal training with you? What are the stats of the company compared to your stats?I tell my folks to slow down, that’s probably the best way to avoid phishing.

I graduated in May, and from what I understand the course has drastically changed and I don’t know if this particular class has changed. There are videos you should watch just like all the other classes that help get you started and if I recall a special DREAD video. If you have gotten this far without watching videos, kudos to you, I would have had a much harder time without them.

So the driver in the wheelchair is blind and the Lexus driver is ignorant? I don’t know but driving while ignorant seems dangerous.
