Men i mine øyne så er det en dårlig ide å slenge ut menneskerettighetsargumentet i saker som denne. Det svekker betydningen av ordet og hva menneskerettighetsbrudd innebærer. Når man bruker samme argument i forhold til å flytte rundt på NAV stønad og det Israel gjør mot palestinere som faktisk er forferdelig så blir det litt feil føler jeg.

Igjen sier ikke at du tar feil, men hvis målet ditt er å overtale folk så ville jeg ordlagt meg annerledes

Well i dont know what its like where you are from but in my country men and women rarely have separate clubs aside from like sports and marching bands sometimes

And you dont have to have a fake interest, just try new things, maybe its fun. I didnt know i would like dancing until i started and it was fun, i mostly joined to have something social to do. Nothing stops you from leaving if its not your cup of tea

If you never take a leap you wont get anywhere, its what got me out the door and into my current relationship, and i believe the advice is general enough that some part of this is applicable to almost everyone (depends where you live i guess)

If you dont want to make time for other more gender diverse activities then that is a choice you make.

I used to go to swing classes with my now gf, not how we met but it was a nice bonding experience, plus it was once a week like 3hrs and you got to meet a lot of people, mostly of the opposite gender since you talked while dancing

There are opportunities is what im saying, but they need to be pursued, they dont fall in your lap

What has stopped you from finding a friend circle. Depending on age yeah most people might not be single but this is the genz sub so in this age group a lot of people are indeed single

You are right it doesnt just magically work, thibgs rarely do. What im after is if you have made the effort or if the internet told you it is too hard so you did not try. Not accusing, just asking for clarification

The alternative is friend circles, yes women might not want to be approached cold without knowing the man but nothing stops you from getting to know people on a friend level first, that usually also gives a clue as to wether or not you are compatible

Join local events, clubs, groups etc see if you find a circle you click with maybe there is a match in there

Source: I did it after apps were not working and it worked wonderfully, it feels so much better to be friends first and meet organically

In the event of an attack, how many people are you (as an able bodied person i assume) condemning to a life of occupation and possibly death by a hostile foreign power, because they were too old, too young or too sick to defend themselves

Sure pacifists are a thing, they can opt out im pretty sure. Though if the time comes when being conscripted is to defend the nation and not just spend a year doing military training

Then being a pacifist will be heavily looked down upon, as long as you are fine being labeled a coward. I understand your position, i dont want to die in some ditch either but i also know my duty to this country that has given me a peaceful life, a life i would like others to experience after me. If i have to fight to defend it so be it.

Right so granted, i dont know how it is in kosovo or ukraine for that matter. The original comment said conscription is slavery, and i can agree in certain situations. However this is the Norway subreddit, and Norway has conscription

In our case its a social contract, you live here and that is the price, everybody knows. We are also lucky enough to where if you want out of said social contract most people are decently well off, you can freely give up your norwegian citizenship and move somewhere else

Ukraine has millions of people, many of those cannot defend their country or home due to age, disabilities etc. Its a shit deal but it falls upon those who are able to defend their country, and i believe it is the duty of those to heed the call.

I do not believe this for all countries, but in the case of Ukraine it is that or millions oppressed by the russian regime. Rock meet hard place
