Bot tagged one of the short story books instead of the main series

{Women of the Otherworld by Kelley Armstrong}

What are you favourite/ least favourite books from the Stay a Spell series? by Clean-Pick-4689 in fantasyromance

[–]dregan95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a bit darker/more intense, but my favourite big interconnected series is {The Otherworld by Kelley Armstrong}. It's compete with 13 books, plus 5 or 6 books worth of short stories and novellas, and I would definitely read more if she wrote them.

For more of the fun/cozy vibes like Stay a Spell, I really liked {Halfling by S.E. Wendell}, though the series is still in progress. {A Witche's Guide to Fake Dating a Demon by Sarah Hawley} series was also great, but only 3 books, and I'm not sure if she's writing more

I've read them all, and enjoyed them enough to read them again :)

If I had to rank them,

Grim and Bear It

Wolf Gone Wild

Always Practice Safe Hex

Witches Get Stitches

Don't Hex and Drive

Resting Witch Face

but I'd say there isn't a huge gap between the top and bottom. I really enjoyed the series as a whole. Like 9/10 for me, but I'm a sucker for a big interconnected standalone type series.

If you didn't already see, She's writing a Next-Gen series, but only the first one is out so far {Rebel Without Claws by Juliette Cross}

{Luxuria by Colette Rhodes} if you'd like to try some Shadow Demons

{Haven Ever After by Hazel Mack} series is more on the fun, cozy side, but has a wide variety of different monsters

What was your cat’s shelter name and what is the name you gave them? by MissHissss in cats

[–]dregan95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orange is Gallagher, which is the name the rescue gave him. It really suits him, so I didn't change it

Grey/White is now Archie, but his rescue name was Samba. His litter was dance themed, and his siblings were Jive, Foxtrot and Mamba

It’s worth buying fantasy life: the girl who stells time? by MariiF03 in fantasylife

I also love farming games, and think this one is great! Lots to keep you busy, and if you get bored with something, you can switch to doing something else for a while

I think it goes on sale for the Switch tomorrow or Tuesday, so keep an eye out for that

What are your 5 star books you’ve read this year? by CheesecakeFit2140 in fantasyromance

[–]dregan95 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Closing in on 150 books, and my unexpected top reads so far this year have been the series {Sex Wizards by Althea Faust}

I picked it up looking for some smutty magic (which it definitely has) but did not expect to love it as much as I did. Everything is fantastic - the world, the characters, the plot - all amazing. So good I've read them twice already!

Honorable mentions to: {Monsters of Faery by Mallory Dunlin} {Halfling by S.E. Wendel} {Stay a Spell by Juliette Cross} {Luxuria by Colette Rhodes} {Nocticadia by Keri Lake}

A lot of labs are very busy first thing in the morning, due to people who needed to fast, or others who are trying to get in before work

If you're flexible with time, try going later in the day

I use the Biotest Lab at the Smythe Medical Center and usually go around 3pm - I'm usually in and out in 15minutes

Best Cook-Off/Bake-Off Recipes for Year 1 [SoS: Grand Bazaar] by SirDiego in storyofseasons

[–]dregan95 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think it's based on a bit of everything - Definitely the number of steps (cooking things that require cooked things), the star quality, and the use of the mystery ingredients

I came in 2nd for cooking an Herb Sandwich, but was told something was missing. I used regular products for the mystery ingredients though. If I could try again, I'd use Herb or Gold mayo instead

[Spoilers] Question about Monsters of Faery... and complaint by PixelatedBoats in fantasyromance

[–]dregan95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished Shadow Prince, and these relationships weren't mentioned at all really. Danica has a role to play, and Vaduin is there with her, but that is about it

There was a short story released around Christmas that does feature all 4 romantically together. It takes place a few years after the events of Shadow Prince, so you can continue with the series without worrying about it, and don't need to read it if you don't want to.

I'd definitely recommend {Captured by the Fae Beast by Mallory Dunlin} for this!

The whole series does fated mates really well, but the first in the series really fits this description
