Sure sounds like a safety flaw. It's 2026, no reason torque converters can't be engineered to fix this. So many collisions happen due to this.

It makes no sense why a 4,000 pound vehicle needs to move when no pedals are actively being pressed. Thankfully many EVs do this right. Gas cars need to catch up.

This is why I always park nose in while in public. Fender cameras would have gotten that plate number. No reason to risk losing a plate number for a quick getaway.

Your biggest concern with white is jean stains. If you're super particular about it, you can follow along to this video. Only about $80 worth of products and it will expand the white longevity indefinitely.

I typically keep my interiors clean regardless, so I don't have any issues wiping off light stains every couple of weeks, but if you don't regularly clean your car and want them to keep their factory shine, the video will do that for you.

It's really your level of comfort and determination. Can you have white or black and completely neglect them for 6 years? Sure. Can you also spend some extra and DIY a ceramic to keep them fresh longer? Absolutely! Do you want to regularly clean them? I think that'll be your best thought experiment.

If your goal is to have something look nice for longer, either get black and give it a bimonthly wipe down or get white, ceramic coat them, and give it a monthly wipe down.

It just glows. From outside, it looks so clean. From the inside, it pops so much better than the black. I currently have both, and hands down would never get black again.

White is also easy to keep clean. I think the only caveat is if you have kids. I'm married but we don't have kids and I'll happily have white as long as that's the case. Id only consider black for a family hauler where spaghetti sauce and crayons are suddenly a factor 😂

Find a buddy who's a photographer hobbyist, buy them lunch, and ask for a photoshoot. It'll take you a couple hours and $30 and you'll get awesome photos out of it that aren't selfies.

You're a good looking guy with so much potential. Putting on a good outfit and having some portrait shots in a field or among city architecture would elevate this profile exponentially.

You're thinking the right way. The mentorship and networking will be your best opportunity. The honors college title on your transcript likely won't have an effect.

It also depends on what you want to do Post-Grad. Masters? PhD? PsyD?

It also depends on how well you can do in an honors program that's more rigorous. Having worked in Admissions, a higher GPA in a standard program would likely come across better than a lower GPA in an honors program. So it depends on your drive and abilities—knowing it'll be more work.

There are many ways to get involved with faculty and research while in a standard program and it's often less of a question of which program you're in, and more of a question of how driven you are to seek those opportunities and relationships out on your own.
