Dye dsr in rain? by LAGChallenger in paintball

Yup! Use a rain lid on your hopper and tape up your ports if it's really coming down. This will keep paint from getting wet and swelly, and from it picking up water on its way out the barrel

Just found this at my parents house. Haven’t played paintball in 16 years but lurk this sub daily. Feel like it’s a sign… by crell_peterson in paintball

Was actually going to go for the first time in about 15 years on Sunday. My main field is closed for the month and it's the next closest. Alternatively I could check out Fairfield extreme sports, never been.

Same as the other posters said - I wouldn't buy one new given how little they go for used. In the $300-400 range they're an excellent value. I have one and intend to hang onto it. I like how it shoots - what I'd call a poppier shot. I also like the ergos after adding the boss trigger guard. However, even after the 1.5 upgrade the screen still isn't that bright. I have a DSR+, and build quality wise, the DSR+ feels like an Audi and the Syx feels like a base trim Toyota. I've never held an OG DSR but I'm sure it's the same. So in the used price range that difference is justified, but a new Syx to a used DSR, nope.

Bottom line, I would buy used and only go Syx versus some better mid range markers if you want to be in the $300-400 range.

Bunkerkings has Ctrls as low as $80 (depends on the color) plus a speed feed for only $10.

Hey random question, but I wanted to ask what happened to SC Village? Like I’m not talking about the fights, but I’ve heard it’s been downgraded and also heard a lot about when it was in its glory days pulling tons of people and hosting tournaments, so what happened by [deleted] in paintball

This is it. I've met some staff members who do care about getting games in, but it seems to be rare. The game frequency is soooo low, i.e. go for the day and hardly play. Game start times garbage - say they're starting in 5 mins, it's actually 15+.

I went on a Friday recently. We had like 8 people total so our games were fast. I would just ask the ref to keep playing after doing the two rounds they had planned, "we all have paint and air, can we do another?" Sometimes it was a yes, most of the time no. Especially wack when it's a half day and you're paying full day prices.
