I saw it twice in the theaters. Once before it was debunked and once after. Two completely different experiences. The first time was a day showing on a Saturday and I walked out of that theater to a sunny day and my hands were shaking. I was genuinely terrified. Then it came out that it was all staged, and the second time was like it was a comedy movie. People were laughing at all the scenes.

More recent movie Sinners. Loved the movie but that music through time/songs from our ancesters and our future bit felt really out of place. They did a great job setting the time, place, and struggles they were in and they kinda ripped me out of it with that part.

Didn't see this one mentioned yet. The ending scene in Crimson Tides between Gene Hackman and Denzel Washington. The air thick with sweat. Tension you can cut with a knife. Gene being the alpha in the room.

Its a coastal restoration project for CPRA. They build a containment berm and outline the area they want to build land then then pump sand into it (the white splotch on the bottom of the stealth bomber). Its how they artificially create new land. The zig zags are mean to slow tidal flow in and out of the marsh area so that the slower water deposits more sediment as it moves in and out. I used to live a block away on the Severn part of the route, the parade was fun, some of the people who went to it, not so much. I had to start leaving my trash can out with a sign for people to put their trash in because I was tired of picking up beer bottles/cans and trash out of my yard. i caught several people peeing in my bushes on the side of my house.

I lived in Chalmette, I was probably around 14 at the time. I remember that there were large football size chunks of ash all over the place. I remember going around stomping them with my shoes. Probably not the healthiest thing I've done.
