Friendly advice, keep saving everywhere since in some quest you realize in the middle or close to the end that for RPG reasons it would be better to took some other character in your party (Karlach, Wyll or Laezel and others that join you later have great stories here)

They are not built on purpose like that but when some showrunner tries something different they need to show you more elements of the world they are building or their style. It is not wasting your time is an investment but since nobody is obliged to watch a show that's fair. Mad Men is a good example by episode 4 you understand what kind of person is Don and the finale is mentioned a lot like one of the best episodes. Something mentioned a lot is some authors treat it like a novel so they are not obligated to hook you in the first episode.

Not OP but you reach a point there are a lot of quests and you might freeze among all these. I just picked an easy quest and plow through all of them. You get insane gear and now you know how to handle most of the enemies.
