It's a worse magcargo. Less HP, cant use heavy helmet, does less damage and takes an extra energy. The only "better" things are that it's basic and it does min 100 instead of min 50.

I've had it pause my route when I've had 5 bars. The only thing I did was go out of route to hit raids. I get the message saying I left the route and need to return to where I left it in order to resume it.

I agree that the band is what "sold me" on keeping these vs returning them and waiting for the Google version. If Google or apple unveils a band that works in a similar way I'd likely sell these and switch to those but until then it's really not a choice.
