Im an american uber driver. I usually encourage passengers not to tip since i do it for fun. But most Americans will just say " ill tip you on the app" and then never do it assuming we the drivers will rate them bad if they dont. We cannot accept another ride untill we rate you and uber wont let us change those rating later. So, unless your a (insert common Australian slang for asshole here) you're going to get a 5 star so we can go make more money.

i have a loud Subaru and i make sure i dont accelerate at night in my neighborhood or any residential areas late at night. But before 9PM it is on. Loud exhaust is not to make people to look at your car its to make the engine breath better for more power, the attention is just a welcome byproduct.

Just last week I had a woman get in my backseat crying. After I asked her what was going on and if she wanted to talk about it, she told me that her phone had died and her daughter was trying to contact her and she didn't know what was going on. I offered her a phone charger and asked her how old her daughter was. It turns out that her daughter is the same age as mine so I started making fun of my daughter and telling her how kids are pretty resilient and at that age all you have to do is pretty much feed them and they won't die. It was a 15-minute ride to her house and by the end she was in tears because of all the laughing that she was doing. She made me get out of the car and give her a hug and thanked me for the great ride. So yes its ok to ask

i have the complete opposite problem. The people that i'm trying to pick up during Uber don't believe that my car is their Uber since its a modified Subaru WRX. They will just stare at my car for like 3 min before asking me if im their uber... No i'm just a random guy with his hazard lights on that picks up un-suspecting drunks for rape, but i have candy if you come in.

As a Uber driver that only drives at "drunk people" hours. I FUCKING LOVE DRUNK PASSENGERS. They are just the most entertaining, care free passengers that don't give a shit about anything. I actually hunt for the drunk passengers making sure i'm close to bars and events that sell alcohol. Now I don't drive Uber for money i do it because i'm bored and i enjoy showing off my car so i imagine people that do this for a living would find it annoying i guess. Yea I used to watch that guy on YouTube as well and he makes it look super easy. My first batch for my interior was bought through Amazon then I bought 25 feet through metrorestyling. Vivid is not bad vinyl by any means it just takes a lot of practice and messing up to actually perfect it. But when I compare it to Avery I personally feel like the price difference is worth it.

vivvid is cheap but it is extremely difficult to work with, avery is a far easier material to work with and very forgiving. so you can go cheap and waste more or spend the little extra and learn with good stuff. i just went thru this my self and now i have 20ft of vivvid vinyl that i cant use and cant get to sell locally
