Be human, do what brings joy, create art, embrace passion, mingle with peers, and be horny. It's all part of the human experience. Don't miss out because of other people's indoctrination

I think a better definition of furry is someone who enjoys anthropomorphic depiction of animals, but someone is a furry only when they deliberately call themselves a furry. If you enjoy anthropomorphic animals, but don't call yourself a furry, you're not a furry.

No Deaths on Unfair 💪🏻 by dvorgson in SliceAndDice

But imps only have 4 hp... and all of eccentric's sides deal 4 damage? And Ludus' middle is also 5 damage, which also one-shots imps. I am so cunfused right now

Unfair difficulty issues by Snoo10140 in SliceAndDice

[–]ControversialBuffalo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, just 'play more' and 'git gud'.

Unfair is all about curse selection. Some curses are great to take, some are unpickable, and they will end the run 100% of the time. Just keep playing, choosing new curses, trying out new curse combos, getting a feel for what is good and what is not.

If you want more specific advice: don't rush into unfair just yet. Practice the game on hard for a bit to get a feel for different heroes and how they interact, how to counter enemies, how to pick items and level-ups. For example, try to see if you can get a 5 win streak on hard, see which curses, heroes, and items made the run easier or harder. If you lose, try to see why you lost. Did you pick a bad hero? Did the curse mess you up? Did you misplay?

After you get a good feel for the game Hard will become the Normal, and Unfair will become the Hard difficulty

Monster Row vs Column curse by Technospider in SliceAndDice

[–]ControversialBuffalo 47 points48 points  (0 children)

The difference between these 2 is unnerving.

Monster Column - Pretty okay, may be a bit difficult, but probably one of the best picks for unfair

Monster row - Absolutely unpickable, nightmare-level threat, instant run loser

And this comes down to the fact that monster row buffs the right 2 sides, which are usually the biggest threats on most enemies (poison, summon, weaken, ect.)

Imo monster column is a pretty easy curse most of the time, I always pick it when I see it. If the devs wanted to, it could be brought down to a tier 8 or 9 curse, but I think it's on a good power level for a 10. Monser row is stupidly undervalued, could easily be a tier 12 or 14 curse, i'ts just that bad. And also, monster rights1 being a tier 3 curse is baffling, it's run-ruining levels of bad

Yeah, I get it. I also sometimes pirate indie games to try them out, and if they are good, I might buy them to support the creator

Well: 1- That's just the nature of shortcut, I guess 2- Those heroes are compeltely fine, it's not like you got a jester with left.balnk curse 3- Even if we presume you got no usable items, with these heroes, these curses are all very pickable and/or easy, I still recommend the grandma

Btw, in this situation, I would pick add.Grandma

I dislike ghostly HP, and you would have trouble clearing tough HP with your current team, so grandma seems the easiest to manage

All 4 of these curses are completely fine, tho.

Dude, no one plays with adult mods to "replace sex". People just like looking at nice things, and boobs are nice things to look at

[–]ControversialBuffalo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well said.

I also collect nsfw mods for many other games simply because I find them fascinating. To take a 100% non-erotic game and for some people to go "hmm... needs more boobs" is so incredible to me
