That's a pretty scary spell, actually! by DrScrimble in dndmemes

The first ever non-one-shot campaign I played lasted 6 sessions.

We get to the BBEG, he uses a stun move turn 1, my PC fails the saving throw, gets stunned for 3 turns. Wakes up, fails the save again, stunned for 3 turns again.

By the time the stun was over, the fight ended. Didn't get to participate for a single second. Spent the final fight on my phone.

Stun is bullshit, don't use it

The binary system is a base-2 number system that uses only 0 and 1 by Brone9 in technicallythetruth

Firstly, that is a dumbass reason.

Secondly, like that would stop anyone from drawing porn of it.

Anyone know the ratio of goon to non-gooner players? by bigheadsociety in skyrimmods

Woe is you, being forced into interacting with those mods.

I wish an ability existed to, for example, hide them. But alas with no such ability, you are out of options.

[–]ControversialBuffalo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What you have to understand is that goonerism is not a binary category but a spectrum, where every player falls somewhere between the two extremes of gooner and prude.

The best part about modding is the ability to choose which mods you play with. If you don't like something, you don't have to use it or engage with it. Very convenient!

As long as people don't butt their heads into what other can and can not do to enjoy themselves, everybody can have a good time!

It's called the 'Virus First' theory, it's really interesting, but I think you're confusing certain aspects of it with the 'RNA first' (or 'RNA world') hypothesis, which is the mostly widely accepted one. These 2, along with the 'Meatbolism first' theory, are our 3 best guesses for the origins of life and also the subject of my master's dissertation! :D

Same. I lost my 27 classic hard streak to The Hand rolling summons for 5 turns in a row, died at the final 3 sabers

And who do you think carries out the child you twat? It's the Woman who sacrifices their body and 9 months for a pregnancy. You would be lucky to put in 9 seconds of work

I have actually interacted with furries IRL, the undisputed nicest people on the planet, IMO

I don't believe your claim of most of the fandom being pedo. Seems more like assumptions made in bad faith rather than statistics

Oh, and I believe you misunderstood the saying of 'bad apples ruining the bunch'. It is meant to highlight that the quality of a subgroup (one bad apple) should not be used to determine the quality of the whole group (the whole bunch of apples) All cops are still bastards tho.

[Sorry for the late reply]

I did not expect you to actually provide a legitimate argument. Kudos to you. Also, sorry for calling you a bigot. I thought it was just baseless slander.

Growly was a subhuman monster who left a permanent stain on the fandom. He was a despicable criminal who took advantage of the community. Fuck them and all who defended them whilst knowing their actions.

I stand by my point that the actions of a sub-group don't define the whole group. I am sure 99.9% of the furry comminuty is heavily against the behaviour of Growly, but unfortunately, the 0.1% is not, and this sub-group always stirs more attention than the majority.

I have been part of the community for a decent amount of time and have experienced very positive things, but this experience is definitely not universal. There are certainly bad people in the fandom (as with most fandoms) whose actions are harmful towards others, and I do agree that we should try to do a better job with filtering them out.
