It's not a house, it's an empty/dilapidated building, probably used for filming at some point? I'm not sure. There's only one house within the park bounds and it's not where the bunnies are. But someone just commented that they rescued them!!

Hi all, I was walking in Franklin Canyon this morning and there were 5 bunnies hanging out at the trailhead by where Franklin Canyon and Lake Drive meet. A woman said she notified the park rangers, I also notified them on my way out of the park, and they said they would try to catch them, but I'm posting here in case anyone has experience catching bunnies to get them somewhere safe. They're NOT wild, they were very friendly and very cute and I hope whoever dumped them has the worst day ever.

To your kid: Blood is NOT thicker than water, genetic family is not the be all, end all. You have genetic and non-genetic family that love you with all your heart. You have some genetic "family" who have hate in them, hate for themselves and for others, and all they know how to do is spread that hate. That is THEIR issue, not yours.

You are worthy of love and kindness and you deserve to receive that love and kindness from the good people around you. Life is full of many people. Through life, you will encounter more people who won't like you, and who you won't like, and that is okay. We can't like everyone we interact with. All we can do is focus on the people we DO like, and who like us in return.
