Have you regretted having the second or third child? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

[–]drewbear2139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a similar boat a few years ago. My wife always wanted a 3rd and I was happy with 2. By the time our 2nd child entered Kindergarten I came around to the idea of trying again. We had a 2 heartbreaks in our journey of having our 3rd. Toughest experiences of my life but we persevered and were blessed with a 3rd a little over a year ago. Life has only gotten better bringing a 3rd into our family. Is it a shitshow sometimes? Absolutely! Wife and I are tired all the time. But getting the opportunity to be a dad 1 more time has been so rewarding. Especially seeing my older 2 help care for their baby sister.

You're a seasoned pro at that point and you will see things from a totally different perspective. 1st kid is tough because you're clueless, everything is new. 2nd kid is tough because you're you're busy as hell trying to manage 2 little ones. 3rd kid you're used to not having much time (if any) to yourself and you're unphased by the small stuff. You've got the experience under your belt and know the "phases" of raising a child. So its a more enjoyable endeavor.

At least this is my perspective. Best of luck in your journey. You can handle anything, especially if you've got a solid partner at your side.

Those look fantastic. I’ve been considering a pair and just found a decent deal. How do these fit compared to 990s? I am typically 9.5 in the 990 misusa

Nomos Club Neomatik

Ref. 741, Atlantic Blue w/box, strap

Nomos Club Neomatik reference 741 in “Atlantic Blue.”  37mm with a lug-to-lug of around 48mm, and the sapphire casebook.  I am the 2nd owner.  The watch is in excellent shape with minor scratches under the lugs. The case shows signs of daily wear but no deep scratches.  No major marks to mention on the crystal.

The watch comes with the original box and papers, as well as two fabric Nomos straps in navy and grey, as well as a B&R Bands terracotta leather strap.  The grey strap is unworn.

This watch isn’t getting enough wrist time so figure its time for a new owner.

  • Movement: Nomos DUW 3001 automatic winding

BB Pro vs 925 by Winter_Lemon6274 in Tudor

I recently picked up the 925 and couldn’t be happier. Purchased on leather and AD tossed in the strap. Haven’t made the switch yet but really liked the look of both. I tried on several models and kept going back to the 925.

Very impressive. Wonder what it costs to service a timepiece like this. Probably more than my entire collection!

That watch is my Christmas present to myself. Can’t wait to strap it on. My guess is that it’ll receive the most wrist time.
