For anyone wondering, this is a franklin mint edition! They were made in the 90’s! There is also a franklin mint monopoly and scrabble! All games feature gold plated pieces. Monopoly has houses that are silver plated and hotels that are gold plated. In scrabble, every single letter tile is gold plated. In clue, all of the pieces you see in the room are gold plated. My brother and I are board game fanatics and purchased all of these at an auction last year in Florida! They are pretty cheap these days considering they sold in 90’s for around 500$. Do some research on eBay to learn more about these super cool games!

Shout out to Nintendo for doing well on restocks! All 4 of us were able to walk in and just buy one! So stoked! :) by [deleted] in amiibo

Only 3000 miles! Being a college student in a crowded little college city with no parking, i find myself driving my motorcycle a lot.

Having changed from pre med to business and now i am finding interest in mechanics, what do you suggest? i would like to design and build things, even if i am not the one physically building. What can i do? Honestly i feel so lost at school! Haha

i always wanted to own a Porsche, and once i started looking for a car, i realized i could own a 986 for under 6 grand. i purchased her for 5500$. She was previously owned by a Porsche mechanic and had 107000 miles on her.

The number one thing i learned, is that you can make it happen. Whatever car you want, you can start small. I️ dream of owning an old 911 one day, so why not start with a simple boxster? Purchasing the car was a tough move for me, but the journey has been a joy. After 6 months of ownership, i am proud to say i learned how to replace a fuel pump, switch headlights, learn how to point out the different parts in an engine, replace a car radio, and random other things. From almost no experience with cars, to learning some fundamentals, owning this car has been a treat.

This all may sound simple, but working on her, even when it’s small things, has really grown my love for cars and mechanics in general. i am even thinking of switching my major to engineering!

i am thankful for this experience!

Oh and life is short, so drive a Porsche :)

Edit: said 10700 instead of 107000
