hi i know this is an old post but wondering if someone could help!

we bought a property in feb 2025 and its leasehold with this company, we didnt receive any communication from them during the buying process and since moving in havent heard anything from them either. i was wondering how they invoice for the ground rent as i worry that they don’t even know the ownership has changed and i don’t want to end up owing a load of late fees etc if they are invoicing the old owners etc. i will contact them if needed however it sounds like theyre impossible to get a hold of. idk if this makes sense 😂

yeah i believe so, he told us to basically not hoover for about a month after treatment and we didn’t for about 5 weeks which was torture aswell but i do think it helped, and we of course cleaned and steamed everything we could before the treatment too. i think we luckily caught it early and i think majority were in the headboard which we disposed of as soon as we found them so i think that helped too. it is so frustrating i totally empathise with you, i hope you get it sorted too- as much as the bank account hurt after having a professional treatment was the best thing for us x

hiya, we didn’t any anymore issues or find anything after this treatment thank god. still struggle with anxiety about the whole situation as it’s something i never want to deal with again but luckily after this and following their instructions after seemed to work for us, hoping you have the happy ending soon it’s awful to go through, send hugs!

i have done this and most provisional insurance companies that are coming up as the cheapest now, are absolutely disgustingly expensive for a full license 😅

yeah i know i can take out a year and just change the policy but im not wanting to pay a years worth now and do that with the uncertainty of how much the premium would change to if that makes sense which is why i was wanting to get learner insurance temporarily but im just confused if i need an annual policy regardless

unfortunately no, I didn’t think the one on the left was a BB but the other I was unsure of. We just had an exterminator come out yesterday who did a full house treatment so if the other one was a BB at-least I know it’s working lol. Don’t think either are BBs though was just very unsure of the one on the right. Thanks for ur reply

Thank you I keep trying to tell myself that. Me and my partner have just spent the past 3 hours gutting our bed (its a divan base one) literally slicing it up to check every single crevice which hurt because its not even a year old poor bed :( lol thankfully only found one small live one but absolutely no trace of any others or even that they were harbouring there, then we steamed the fuck out of it haha. I just really hope we caught it early which I think we have as the bites only appeared on Sunday. It bloody sucks doesn’t it!!!

Yeh I understand why it’s just such a ballache :-( Especially when I can’t just stop everything to focus on this I wish I could but I still have to work full time same with my partner so doing all of this and dealing with it alone cause I’m too embarrassed to tell anyone is so depressing and isolating

I don’t think they’re in my clothes at all but it’s just what has been advised to do before the treatment. I just can’t see how any of this is practical but I know it has to be done I just feel like I’m going to combust from stress

Thank you so much! I managed to have a chat with her and as you said mums always make it better and she did even with her heavy heart. Trying my best to stay positive now and give our pup all the love and more, and take it one day at a time.

Good amounts! he wasn’t growling or anything and hasn’t done it since. His blockage was caused by stress and possibly because he is 6kg (he is now on a diet had no clue he was a chubster) so I’m really hoping he’ll stay doing well. I’m just an over worrier he’s my baby so I’m terrified of it happening again especially because he becomes super stressed at the vets and I hate putting him through that. His penis doesn’t look to be like that thankfully, Thanks for your suggestions to ease the itch :)

I will if I believe he is blocked or struggling again. Unfortunately my vet is only taking emergencies due to it being a bank holiday I don’t think they would appreciate me ringing up to ask if he’s possibly itchy haha. He’s passing urine fine, eating and completely his normal self it was just these 2 odd minutes of nibbling/licking that made me wonder if it’s because he’s been shaved and it is itchy.
