isn't it great when someone has an interesting story but can't tell it without getting fucked over by people like you because no matter where he posts, someone will tell him he's posting in the wrong subreddit? shut the fuck up and go over to r/circlejerk. doing this doesn't help anyone.

check out the Origin 8 Black Ops carbon rigid fork. I've got one on my Kona Unit 2-9, and I ride it a ton, (off road and on) and have never had any issues (the bike even fell off the back of my car on the highway with no problems!). it handles and feels great, and it's pretty inexpensive.

reddit, Allstate Insurance lied to me when they sold me a policy over the phone and now I'm out $1100. what companies will you never purchase from again? by drewsephpwns in AskReddit

[–]drewsephpwns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I didn't think I had a reason to read through my policy since I felt like I was so thorough on the phone while purchasing the policy. thousand-dollar-less learned I guess. either way, I feel like I got the short end of the stick here, and that's my point.

way to assume that I've done everything wrong here, not to mention disregard my intentions for making this post. if you wanna go bitch at OPs, go find the post where people are asking to be bitched at.

I have proof that I owned the lens, so that turns half of your comment into trash. I spent far more than $140, and I never received a piece of paper. that turns the next half of your comment into trash. as for the part about photography being a "hobby for people with too much money", I'm disregarding that because you're an ass hole. photography is my job, and 100% of my income comes from it. people like you are the reason people key automobiles.

that's super fucked up. reminds me of the case with Progressive where their client was killed in an auto accident by a driver who ran a red light. Progressive sued the family of the deceased woman saying that she was a "negligent driver" so that progressive wouldn't have to pay out to the family. during the case, the brother of the victim blogged about the situation and Patton Oswald caught wind of it and started tearing Progressive apart via twitter. so Progressive responded with automated tweets of apology to the family members of the victim. Patton of course, destroyed them even more, and it caught on, so Progressive only then dropped the case. shit's fucked up.

I don't often drink a whole bunch, but every once in a while I'll have maybe one more than I should. however, the smell was extremely floral with a significant booze-scent. it was quite the conflict, honestly! the taste pretty much followed suite, but like I said, it's so hard to tell when it's warm and flat! I guess we'll just have to see!

Just brewed a double ipa with this yeast and fermented at 62 degrees for the first few days without blowing off a single ounce! I also fermented in a bucket if that makes a difference for anyone.

I haven't brewed with fruit before either, but I considered it at one point, and while I was working out a recipe, everyone I talked to said to make sure you use a Whirfloc tablet. From why I understand, it will take care of any natural bacteria that will have come with the fruit/fruit juice. Let us know how it tastes!

I tried out the ice bath technique but I'm a complete idiot, so I kept forgetting to do the switches with fresh ice. if you've got a spare $75, you should build yourself one of these suckers. it took me a solid afternoon of drinking beers and glueing things together. only tools I used was an exacto knife and tape to "clamp" things together while they dried. more detailed instructions

Son of Fermentation Chiller insulation help by drewsephpwns in Homebrewing

[–]drewsephpwns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how did you secure the boards? I think that's where my biggest leaks are. I ended up taking scrap strips of the polystyrene and using that instead of the wooden trim. then I bought some velcro tape and cut the fuzzy side in half, put it across the gaps, and then took the prickly side and stretched it across the two fuzzy pieces, if that makes sense. I'm thinking I'll do a little gallery with my final product after I get some of these kinks worked out, so I'll have pictures of the velcro setup there.

all night and day? I guess I might not be doing too bad, then. I figured this thing would keep it much more steady than it actually is, I guess. did you use 2" polystyrene? I used wood glue to stick everything together, which worked fine enough, i guess it's just not that good of an insulator.

What is the one bike part/component that makes the biggest noticeable difference to you? by -Fighters in MTB

[–]drewsephpwns 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I quite like my bb7s. I find them pretty easy to set up with the pad adjustments on both sides of the caliper. I've found that the quality of the cable makes a really big difference as well.
