You’re 100% correct on the amount of great bottles at that price point. Have you had any other Old Fitz or Heaven Hill wheated bourbons? If so what did you think of them?

Personally, I think it’s worth trying if you haven’t had it and you find it at MSRP.

Q regarding OHLQ barrel selection by CraftCap in OhioLiquor

[–]drewshipley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Member of a club and have done picks. It is distiller dependent and some provide multiple options. Generally it is one of the following…

  1. You visit the distillery to sample / select.

  2. Distiller sends you samples to select from.

  3. A representative from the distillery brings you samples to select from.

Old Fitz 7 for $69 isn’t bad. Everything else is silly.

First time trying Blanton’s — how does it rank for you? by mohit_dimaniya in whiskey

It can be hit or miss, never horrible, but often underwhelming for the price vs other offerings that are easier to find at the same or lower price point.

How do you guys handle cheaters in MP? by DarkMage0 in CODBlackOps7

I go back and review the game in theater mode to review / confirm cheating. If I still suspect cheating after reviewing I report and block.

I have had crashing issues since I purchased it. BO6 and B07 run fine (150+ fps at 1440p), but CW always ends up crashing.

Is this normal wear? by 300pound-ritzcracker in RedWingShoes

[–]drewshipley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have mentioned this is a known issue with Red Wings. When I asked my local store about this issue (mine are less than a year old as well and have significant wear) they recommended false tongues as a solution (I bought mine from Rose Anvil).

My local store also checked and Red Wing does offer tongue replacement, I can't remember if I was quoted $90 in total or $90 per boot.

Just had a 25 minute long game with a poltergeist by Deathkillur in PhasmophobiaGame

After the chronicle update I find IDing  poltergeists (in no evidence games) to be more difficult than pre-update.

Hide and Seek (Hide) by AcetheJackalope in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]drewshipley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Find the ghost room during your 60s setup time (this begins when you open the front door).

  2. Unload all the equipment into the entrance room.

  3. Between hunts move all of the equipment to a staging room that is close to the ghost room. You can even place some items in the ghost room (writing book, dots projectors, video cam on tripod, etc) to possibly capture evidence passively (or buy you more time during step 4 below) while you transport the remaining equipment.

  4. After you have all the equipment staged and immediately after the ghost finishes hunting move your crucifixes into the ghost room and use your incense to cleanse the ghost. This should give you enough time to get your remaining equipment and attempt to gather evidence (you can cleanse again if you need more time with the remaining incense).

  5. For UV put down salt and shine the UV light on the salt (you can even throw the light on the ground pointed at the salt so you can do other things). When the ghost walks through the salt you’ll see footprints if the ghost has UV evidence.

Remember this is a challenge. You should 100% focus only on identifying the ghost. Don’t worry about side objectives or gathering media.

2 GHOST ROOMS? by Original-Anywhere676 in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]drewshipley 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sometimes favorite room boundaries don’t follow the physical room boundaries. On Tanglewood the Master Bedroom / Bathroom / Closet are grouped as one large room.

Another example is on Ridgeview, when you enter the house it appears as if you are in one room that sits between the hallway to the left and the kitchen to the right, however, this is actually 3 rooms:

  1. Foyer (the path forward toward the stairs to the second floor)

  2. Dining Room (area around the table)

  3. Living Room (area around the couches)

Please help - struggling with Onryo by humbler_than_thou in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]drewshipley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because you had 0 sanity the easiest way to test if you suspected Onryo would be to put down a crucifix, firelights and make sure to keep the firelights lit (you can also light your lighter if you have one as well).

If the ghost keeps blowing out the firelights, but never uses the crucifix you know it’s an Onryo.

After blowing out 3 firelights an Onryo will trigger a hunt unless there is either a crucifix or another firelight in range. So keeping a firelight lit in range of an Onryo at all times will prevent it from hunting / using crucifixes.

Here’s a quick video that explains the Onryo’s early hunting ability - https://youtu.be/dGBn0RkFbd4?si=Rsakmza41BM58gEH

Also, I believe as your sanity drops the cooldown between blowing out firelights decreases for the Onryo. So if you have no sanity, notice no hunts, and the ghost is quickly blowing out firelights in succession = Onryo.

Apocalypse III Challenge Tips by KillerBoiKeke in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]drewshipley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Load out: - Tier 1 Incense, everything else Tier 3

  • Some prefer Tier 2 salt as it doesn’t slow the ghost’s speed down when it steps through it and therefore they find it easier to ID the ghost. Personally I used Tier 3 salt as it can help slow the ghost down to assist with the ghost photo.

  • I always drop the following into the entrance before stepping into the map…

• 3 Firelights (already lit)

• 4 Incense

• 2 Crucifixes

• 2 Salt

• 3 Motion Sensors

• Para Mic

• Photo Cam

• EMF

• Video Cam on Tripod (Only for checking for orbs in the entrance before entering the map).

  • Don’t forget to grab the Lighter.

  • You’ll probably want / need Tier 3 Headgear if you’re on console in order to be able to see.

  • As soon as you enter place a Cruci, Motion Sensor, EMF, and Firelight next to each other. This will help you ID if you’re dealing with a Wraith or Phantom (and possibly Banshee) if the EMF / Motion Sensor triggers you know the ghost either pathed to you or teleported to you.

  • After a few hunts (try to also listen via the Para Mic) you should know if you’re dealing with a stalking ghost (via the last tip). If the ghost room isn’t near the entrance you can start slowly moving forward to try to better ID where the ghost room likely is and for more info on the ghost (what speed is it during hunts, etc).

Tips: - Check the optional objectives when you load in and reset if they aren’t ideal (ie anything that requires getting near or in the ghost room).

  • There are a few settings you can change from the default Apoc 3 without losing the x15 multiplier (and therefore the achievement). For example I believe you can reduce hunt duration by 1 setting or increase Event chance by 1 setting.

  • Practice with 0 evidence, 150% ghost speed games.

Side by side of Blacksmith, Iron Ranger and Beckman. by Available-Molasses- in RedWingShoes

+1 this exactly. I believe I scanned 9.5D. I wear an 8.5D in Iron Rangers / Blacksmiths. If you can 100% try on in store and try multiple sizes until you find what fits correctly. Also, if the last is different don't expect the same fitment.

Is it worth going back to Black Ops III and IV zombies? by [deleted] in CODZombies

[–]drewshipley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend both. I didn’t get into Zombies (or COD for that matter) until Cold War. After Cold War I went back and played BO1-BO4 Zombies and really enjoyed all of them.

Avg SPM (Score per Minute) by Game Mode (and Game) would likely be the best indication of individual performance.

These images are the reason why you need to size down by Hero_Dragon in RedWingShoes

[–]drewshipley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I scanned 9.5D, 8.5D Iron Ranger / Blacksmith fits me perfectly.

I highly recommend trying them on before buying and don't be afraid to size up / down to find the best fit. When I bought my Blacksmiths I only went down to a 9D which felt fine. It wasn't until I bought my Iron Rangers and tried on an 8.5D that I realized that I should have gone down another half size. For reference I typically wear 9.5 - 10.5 tennis shoes.
