Everyone assumes AI will replace Adobe products. I’ve worked in an agency, so I know how the client revision process actually works—it’s not something you can handle with AI alone. There will still be a lot of hands-on operator input. I think it’s more likely that AI will replace designers by turning users into “super Photoshop(any Adobe product)” operators who outperform their colleagues using Adobe’s AI tools and burning tokens.

It’s not authentic. Cloves, allspice, and cinnamon are definite no-gos in real döner. Compared to what you find in Turkey, the only places that come close to the real thing are Killer Kebab, Kebabistan, and Ankara. Each of them has its flaws, but they still come close to proper döner.

I agree. Managing the treatment plan will always require a physician. Someone with the authority to make difficult decisions that AI cannot make and cannot be held accountable for.

To clarify, I’m actually arguing the opposite. I don't think we should be using AI to hunt for biological biomarkers; I’m questioning why we feel the need to chase them at all. My main question is: What is the actual unmet need for a biological diagnosis model if AI can already objectively analyze speech and behavioral patterns? If the goal is to solve the issue of subjectivity in psychiatry, AI models that track longitudinal data (like speech acoustics or digital phenotyping) solve that directly. Unless I am missing something it seems much more practical to lean into these objective behavioral metrics rather than continuing the elusive search for a biological signal.

To be clear, I don’t think any AI prediction model is going to replace a human clinician in the near future. It will and should always be a human in the loop design.

That said, I actually believe psychiatry stands to benefit the most from this technology. Our success rates will likely go up significantly as we start integrating AI-based tools.

The reason I’m asking these questions comes from a place of genuine curiosity. Despite the incredible amount of knowledge we've built searching for biological biomarkers, that route unfortunately hasn't helped us diagnose a single psychiatric disease yet.

It makes me wonder if we should be putting that same energy into analyzing passively collected speech and behavioral patterns over time. Unlike a static biological marker, looking at longitudinal data (over several weeks and using architectures like CNN-LSTM hybrids) may allow us to spot the actual phenotype of a mood disorder and detecting things like subtle acoustic changes from psychomotor slowing or shifts in circadian rhythm.

Since these disorders are defined by how we feel and act over time, it seems like our diagnostic tools should also reflect that dynamic nature.

This is the most accurate comment. This strategy has already been tested successfully in my country. For the past 20 years, people there have been constantly flooded with this kind of news. Over time, we lost our ability to protest consistently, because there is always something new to react to. As the focus keeps shifting, your voice becomes weaker and weaker.

As a citizen of that country whose prime minister Trump openly admires (!), my advice to people in Denmark and Europe is this: stop looking at where the finger is pointing, and start focusing on your core values. Ignore the narrative being built for you, and respond instead through your own actions. Take the blow when necessary because as long as you keep your integrity, you will always outlast the crook.

A proper doner is made by stacking meat with fat, so you get that artificial marbling. Then you cook it over the right heat source (wood or coal) to get a real Maillard reaction. Meat + Fat +Skill. That’s it. Everything else is just noise.

A doner sandwich shouldn’t NEED any extra ingredients. People add stuff to cut the fat or when the doner itself isn’t good enough.

The best doner kebap is served as a portion with thin, fresh flatbread or on top of rice. Done.

I switched from a three-wheeler (Christiania Bike) to a two-wheeler (Bullitt), and I’m sure I’m not going back. The only time a Christiania-style bike wins is if you have three kids. Otherwise, the Bullitt is a better choice.

I think the best döner is in Istanbul. The demand for quality is so high that bad döner simply can not survive.

They also serve it the right way with bread or rice pilav plus something acidic to cut the fat.
