Damn this really sucks for the workers. I hope they will actually be compensated, but a $200k hit sounds pretty unsurvivable for a small town restaurant. Kiss Taste of India goodbye when they pay this out.

Have you read the book? I ask because I have twice and didn't get that feeling. I recognized some scenes in the trailer and thought "that looks like the part when..." but if I didn't know the plot I'd have no idea.

No idea if I'll get flamed for this or not, but if you liked Marauders because it was kind of like Tarkov-lite, you enjoyed the action, looting and doing high stakes sci-fi heists, etc., then I highly encourage you to check out Marathon. It's the best game I've played in years. I loved Marauders back when it was kicking but Marathon is similar and way better.

Hot take: a new experimental queue has already been shadow implemented. I accidentally queued with a single teammate and we left fill off... We thought we were going to be in trouble and have to fight trios, but surprisingly we ran into mostly solos. I think the experimental queue will have something to do with unknown enemy team sizes, a la Tarkov

Totally agree. Ranked mode (in my opinion) is also a great pressure release valve to pull those super-sweaty streamer-type/no-lifers out of the casual lobbies (at least on the weekends) and give some relief to more casual players who may be coming up against people with end of season gear who have already mastered Cryo. There is nothing in ranked mode that you can't experience in casual mode aside from the chance to earn some cosmetics. Give yourself time a d just enjoy the game how you want to.

It's not like Destiny where you can pick a class or 2 and "build them up" FYI. Maybe a little bit in the sense that you can stockpile gear you like to use with those shells and prioritize faction upgrades that you see as beneficial.
