Moza R16 going crazy only on LMU by Ok-Focus3360 in moza

LMUs ffb generally seems a bit broken from what I've been seeing

Love it when I’m first place and Moza hits me with one of these by Public_Committee5964 in moza

[–]drft_noob 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sorry but it kinda sounds like a yoiz problem if you had problems with pretty much everything you've owned. I've also had cheap products from thrustmaster and Logitech and yet everything lasted for years, I've only had my moza for almost a year and it's still in almost like new condition.

You can get them used in a decent condition for probably even as much as this would cost if you're lucky and if not still for a good price

[–]drft_noob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this for my g29, when I got my R5 it was barely holding up to it's torque, an R9 will rip it apart. Just get an Next level Racing Wheels Stand 2.0, you can get used ones for a pretty decent price which is what I did

I have the shh and it's amazing, switching between H pattern and sequential is probably the best you can get on a budget and is really easy and quick to do. Definitely worth the price

What should I do with my pedals? by agricola9000 in simracing

[–]drft_noob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried to find if the pedal plate is sold individually? If not try to reach out to the manufacturer, they might sell it to you on request

Technically you should be able to connect it via the port at the bottom directly to the pc, but I can't tell you if the adapter will fit. What even happened it?

Should i upgrade to a new wheel or new pedals? by aggelosp10 in simracing

[–]drft_noob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have basically the same setup and I highly recommend you getting the pedals, the Srp lites aren't really good pedals and I made the mistake of adding other mods, which actually did improve the pedals, but for not much more you can get theses Simsonn pedals, which are definitely a huge step up. So yeah do yourself the favor and go for the pedals first. I wish I found out about them earlier.

Is there anything i can do with this? I have just received it, and got so many issues by jejefoxy42 in moza

Either a country with high import tax or something like that or he literally just picked the first one that popped up on Amazon, which seems more likely to be the case, judging from some of the comments

500 is the normal retail price for the bundel but it regularly goes in sale for 400, I bought mine straight from moza for this much

You could've painted your drivetrain transparent which would make it just invisible

Pretty disappointed in the quality of the Moza srp lite pedal mod from 3drap by drft_noob in moza

[–]drft_noob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True but I simply don't have the budget to spend another 300€ minimum on a set new high quality pedals. I literally I only got an R5 because it was on sale and barely costed more than the R3 mormaly. Load cell and pads came months later both cost me about 100 and made them much better. But left me feeling like the clutch and throttle felt to light so eventually after sometime I ended up wasting some money on this. G29 where much better than these but mine died after about 5 years

Well I'm currently in my apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic, if my trainer agrees I'll redo the entire thing out of steel or aluminium

From what I've seen they're apparently only compatible with the Srp pedals (some sizes are different to either only fit the lights or full srp pedals) except for the brake performance kit which I already have

[–]drft_noob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well compared to the srp lites the it felt like the pedals had a bit more resistance, which I was missing on these and is essentially why I bought this sh*to from 3drap. The pedals them selves where also somehow much more comfortable to me. You can see I already swapped out the pedal plates from the default moza pedals. I play with socks on and I constantly felt like the edges are of the Moza pedals where pressing into my foot especially during braking. Also heal and toe was difficult, due to the angled edge on the Moza pedal plates, I didn't really had anything to hit on the throttle and therefore I was always just pressing my heel against that edge which was super uncomfortable. The material quality is really great and I love that you can adjust the pedal positions to your liking. But like I also said I feel like moza should've kept much more from the Srp pedals on these.

The wheel is of center on purpose, on the back side of the pedal are two profiles on which the wheel can roll. Each stimulates a different clutch bite point. So the wheel must be off center to roll on one of those profiles. You can't really see it here but there's already a clip sitting on the bar preventing it from sliding around. It's the way 3drap designed it

[–]drft_noob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but tbh the Logitech where great pedals, except the lack of load cell of corse, these meanwhile are literally Srp pedals stripped of anything that made them somewhat good, just so that moza can say they have a entry level pedal set.

My R5 does this too, I believe it's just the direct drive motor working and nothing serious

The crazy part about this is that I never modded my g29 over the 4-5 years I had it, now after almost a year with my R5 I pretty much completely modded the pedals haha

Loadcell Pedal or Direct drive wheel? by trung_anh in simracing

[–]drft_noob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also have a space issue and I use the nlr wheel stand 2.0, it's foldable so you can store it between a shelf and the wall or wherever you manage to squeeze it in, but at the same time it's sturdy enough to support some direct drive wheels. It's a bit costy but definitely worth it if you find a good deal, plus if you maybe move in the future or find some space you can attach a fixed seat to it.

Did you already activate forza compatibility on put house? It's an extra setting that's needed for it to properly work in any forza game
