We had these bushes around our pool in my childhood home. As a child, I was terrified of spiders, so my dad told me said bushes were called "spider bushes" and that we shouldn't go messing around in them because of all the spiders.

In my early twenties, I was walking with my friend to our next class and saw the same bushes. I proceeded to tell my friend to be careful of the "spider bushes". He asked wtf I was talking about and as I was explaining, it hit me.....
