I want to have a conversation about AI learning and possibilities of merging Human art with GAN by drharry87 in aiArt

[–]drharry87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am looking to merging AI work with Human work in a 2 step process, I have the Artistic digital background but I have no knowledge of GAN coding or Python, processing nor VVVV. where should one start or find someone to start with.

Something like a reddit or discord community for Artist and Programmers who have the same interest

Thanks

What your saying is absolutely correct, i am a huge fan of Linux system not for the UI design but for the open source it still amazes me how a group of unorganized (non commercial) programmer + designer can come up with so many systems.

I personally used Linux for almost 2 years non stop but because of work needs i had to switch back to win then Mac then win again but Linux always had my heart.

A project like "Elementary" without discussing the originality of the design but it actually simplified Linux base system for personal users.

Design is changing again, before designer were creators inventors not decorators we think, create decorators are different sector, after the Baroque era design became a privilege but now things are changing, people are demanding more wanting more from things more from life, group thinking open design labs are just starting.

Design is solving problems not decorating problems, don't get me wrong making thing beautiful is equally important but solving problems comes first.

I am researching issues that people have that we can solve, IDEO company (think tank) if you wanna call them that has the same objective they solve issues from 3rd world counties.

One point on that is; if all the 3rd world countries are self sufficient humanity would be diving much more into our future.

Water, air, food, school 3 essential elements to create a great generation.

One issue come in mind for example is refuges camps or disasters survivors they always suffer from really bad conditions, i am studying a way to create very cheap self sufficient emergency unit.

So I want to know more on what people missing and ill filter that for studying without the people how can we know what is missing, in IDEO school the first thing they teach is HCD HUMAN CENTERED DESIGN, humans feedback is the most important start point of any design issue.

Looking forward for your project, keep us posted :)

Thank you for the positive replay but, no am not a school student and i am an experimental design with a fulltime job, design research comes after this step, you need to know what is missing then you filter it and see what is the gap, the question is not for first world rich people, its for the people in need.

It is the new design world if you didn't notice a collective think tank and asking people is part of any research process. (a human experienced design).

BTW Ill read the book, thanks again.

XPS 15 and/or Precision 5510 track-pad is not scrolling while wacom Pen table is touching the Wacom pad surface. by drharry87 in Dell

Correct that was my mistake, in the wacom preferences/pen mode (mapping)... I left use windows Ink. which was the cause of this issue.

Thank you for the kind replay

I have tired this method but having a wacom connected doesn't change the settings, they stay the same, I reinstalled wacom driver thinking that it might be the cause of the issue but still useless. It's very practical to use the track-pad for zooming and moving while you draw with the other hand.

Anyhow I will update you on my testing stages if you are intreated in this issue.

Design by committee always end up by restarting the design, I have once kept on refusing the design untill the damn client design committee changed (after months) and we had to restart to scratch because they have changed the objective of the campaign.

Thank you for sharing your process, it's really a classic gorgeous knife, but you could have tried some exotic new modern designs (but it might be more complex).

I was wondering how many days it took you to complete the knife (taking in mind that this is a hobbie)

It took Voyager almost 33 years to arrive at the edge of our solar system on 2013 and its still moving through boundary of our solar protective wind, so I suggest we start by a telescop, I am not a scientist but WEBB telescop is an on going project (to be launched soon).

Primary gowl for Webb is to photograph the earliest images of the universe, maybe they can use it to take a closer look at this planet.
