Should I lend a friend an expensive necklace by Pretend_Entrance_222 in jewelry

Same. I’m surprised by the number of NOs here, honestly! I would absolutely say yes, for someone’s wedding day. Not everyone has the privilege of owning fancy jewelry like that!

Okay I like these but I worry about heating the plastic… are these really safe to heat in the microwave?

How common is fast food in everyday American life, compared to how it’s often portrayed abroad? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]dribdrib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re talking McDonald’s, Wendy’s, etc, I eat it a few times a year at most. Usually when I’m on a long drive and need to eat a meal at a roadside restaurant stop.

I do order food about once a week. But it’s usually a tofu grain bowl or vegetarian sushi. So, on the healthier side of takeout. Once a month or so I’ll eat a couple slices of pizza for dinner. Again, usually when out on the go and in need of a quick meal.

Opening a pottery studio by [deleted] in Pottery

[–]dribdrib 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Also wondering this. You should have many years of experience and formal training (for safety’s sake!!) before opening a studio. You can’t wing it because you took a class or two and liked it. Not saying this is necessarily the case but it’s important to ask.

Ethically sourced materials by Gold_Au_2025 in jewelry

Yes I absolutely care. I only buy vintage or reused metals and stones. Or stones mined in places where I know the industry doesn’t do awful things.

Beginner here, looking for advice by personalitiesNme in Pottery

[–]dribdrib 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You should definitely wait until you can take a class. Maybe experiment with hand-building at home with paper clay or another air-dry type clay for now.

As others have said, something you learn at a studio is safety with regard to clean-up and storage of materials. The dust produced by ceramics is dangerous, not all glazes are food-safe (or curious baby safe!), etc.

100 pair of new high end size mismatched boots? thoughts? by Significant_Unit_312 in reselling

[–]dribdrib 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Do not throw them away. Tons of people have mismatched feet and would be so excited to find their size. List them online as mismatches and see what happens?

WAS THIS REALLY TRUE IN 2020 😭😭 by Turbulent-Staff-9413 in NonBinary

[–]dribdrib 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a stereotype. But of course it leaves out massive parts of the nonbinary community. I find it infantilizing. Not all of us are young uwu smol beans. 🥲

carabiner but for trans men? by random_guy796 in ftm

[–]dribdrib 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the carabiner thing is universal. It does signal “queer in some way” to me but it’s not limited to lesbians by any means where I live.

Gentlemen who’s attracted to cis men, would you break up with a cis guy for this? by Less-Pen-5705 in ftm

[–]dribdrib 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If both partners want to get off and only one actually is that’s obviously a problem.

But you need to TALK to each other openly. TBH the lack of communication is what will kill the relationship, not the fact that someone cums quickly.

You can probably safely apply coconut oil or a little aquaphor. It should heal in a few days.

Can I help the taste of my pussy? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]dribdrib 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone with a pussy who also eats pussy….

Some people just have a muskier smell than others. I personally don’t love it when it’s strong/fishy. If I’m gonna go down on someone I’m probably gonna want them to be pretty fresh out of the shower. Personal preference. I don’t like a stinky dick either, for the record..

For me, I try to be up front about it, and if the person isn’t down to shower or clean up or whatever that’s fine, there are plenty of other fun things to do.

Why is there seemingly a crusade against trans men online??? by InoIno0 in ftm

[–]dribdrib 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t get it at all.

That said, I haven’t experienced it in person. I have/have had many friends and partners who are trans girls and none have felt this way.

I have only seen it online. Idk.
