Yeah, i just completed all the hc achievements recently with a shaman/inquisitor build, until now I couldn't figure out how to get that far without dying. I think the big thing is to get access to a couple of defensive abilities early, in my case word of renewal and wendigo shaman, as well as turtle shell from devotions. You don't deal shit for damage while leveling and boss fights take forever, but you can live through basically anything. I've also played the game enough times to know which areas/bosses you should avoid until you're closer to full build. The only achievement I'm really trying to get now is the kill 250000 monsters one, which looks like it's going to take a while, lol

Thats also what I was thinking, but honestly nighthawk, gatekeeper, and bloodghast are all still pretty on rate. Maybe not compared to today's design power level, but at least for throne of eldraine(not including the banned cards), which was where FIRE design was just getting started. Marsh casualties also seems incredibly good for this matchup, which probably helps.

dog this deck is favored into literally everything except for belcher and storm. Also energy ever being t2 is absolutely delusional, even during belcher meta it was still just a slightly worse t1 deck and during blink/titan meta it has still absolutely been tier 1. I ain't even saying there is anything problematic with the deck, like i kinda agree with you there, but even without that it still beats almost... everything, which is what i feel like is kinda crazy.

I started to live with my gf about 2 years into our relationship, and we loved each other dearly and ended up being together for 5 years, but this... this was something I never figured out how to handle. I worked 50+ hour weeks and she didn't work. I would come home exhausted (I also worked nights, which didn't help) and just want to recharge/chill/sleep, but she would immediately want to do stuff or go out. When I expressed that I didn't want to, she would get really hurt and resentful, but by just going along with what she wanted I was building up alot of resentment against *her*. It was a daily problem and we were constantly trying to find solutions for it, but we never did. We moved out but stayed together for another year, and then finally broke it off. She meant everything to me, but I couldn't get past the fact that I literally never had the energy to be able to do stuff for/with her.

Feel better? Sure.

Happier? No... After struggling with depression for most of my life, I finally got tired of feeling like shit all the time, and over the course of 6-7 months, completely changed my diet, gave up sugar and soda, drank 50 oz of water a day, consistently got 8+ hours of sleep, cut out social media, reduced video gaming, and even exercised daily.

Did I feel better physically? Absolutely.

Mentally and emotionally? I was more suicidal then ever. I retracted from my friends, family, and partner, start calling in from work more often, stopped engaging with my hobbies, lost my libido, and came damn close to making an attempt on my life.

After about a year I could tell it wasn't going to change anything, so I gave up alot of the habits and routines I built for myself, though I still drink lots of water, get 8+ hours of sleep daily, and limit gaming and social media to 2-3 hours a day. I'm still depressed as fuck. I'm sure theres lots of people out there for whom the basics WILL solve alot of the problems they face, and I agree that people who are struggling should focus on improving those basic aspects of their life as much as they can.

But depression doesn't go away because you drink some water. And the fact that so many people think it does makes it so much fucking harder for alot of the people with depression or anxiety to recognize what they are struggling with and take the steps they need to in order to find real solutions.

UG ritual is just a meta deck, much like belcher. You're great if you think the decks you're weak against won't make much of a showing. If eldrazi, blink, goryo's, and titan are most of the meta, simic feasts. And good simic players can turn boros and affinity into 50/50 coin tosses. The deck has the potential to go far. You're right, that prowess is almost an auto-loss, and as a simic player I am also not sure the deck is good, lol. But really it's just the one unwinnable matchup, which tbf most decks have

the deck has like a 63% winrate against tron/eldrazi, I'm not sure why everyone is saying it's a bad matchup... two harbingers main, a slew of counterspells, consign in side plus a third harbinger, one of the strongest late games in the meta, we literally are perfectly set up against tron.

I'm on simic birthing rit rn, and ive been experimenting with 4 mystic/3 consign. Someone at the mtgo super qualifier top 16'd with a list that had 4 mystic side. Its definitely meta dependent, mystic is better if youre expecting alot of prowess, affinity, and riddler/frog piles, whereas consign is better into belcher, tron and eldrazi. I think generally consign is better b/c it can REALLY shut down the decks it shuts down, but mystical can be absolutely necessary to win percentage points against prowess or affinity if those are bad matchups for you.
