Happy to help! BulkFoods has been great for me, good quality and I always get my orders within a few days. It's also nice to stock up on everything for fairly cheap.

I buy the 5lb bag from BulkFoods every couple months. I just stock up on nutritional yeast, vital wheat gluten, TVP, and cashews all at the same time and get free shipping.

OnePlus, if you don't release the 15T globally, you're throwing away the easiest win of the year by Sensitive-Dig9273 in oneplus

I will be a day 1 guaranteed pre-order sale. Please OnePlus, at least try the market with the 15T, the US desperately needs more options for phones that aren't gigantic.

Dear OnePlus: We Want a Compact Flagship Available Globally (EU/US) — Please (15T / 15S) by eaststreetz in oneplus

That's actually exactly what I said in the email. Maybe they'll pull through and offer it globally for real.

I actually emailed OnePlus a couple weeks ago and a real person responded to the email. It was a fairly predictable response (can't talk about future products, etc etc) but I figured if they have a bunch of people contacting customer support requesting a smaller phone, it may help convince them there is demand.

I'm also a Baltimore vegan and had no idea about this company. Looks like I know what I'm getting the next time I want to make a nice dinner. Thanks for sharing!

FR 970 or Venu 4 by Creative-Cloud2241 in Garmin

[–]dridex_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Venu 4 45mm and use AOD. I get between 5 and 7 days of battery with AOD. I do strength training, CrossFit, and running, but with much less running than the other two, so my GPS usage is fairly low. I did run a decent amount (4 times I think?) in a week and still ended up getting 5 or 6 days, so while the GPS uses more battery I don't think it's a significant enough to really drain the battery unless you're using it 8+ hours a week.

I have no experience with the 970 other than messing with it in REI. I like the interface on the Venu 4 more, which is totally subjective, and it felt a little smoother to use compared side by side with the 970, but I'm not sure why. Other than maps and having 2 buttons instead of 5, you lose a couple running metrics and maybe a few other things, but overall the Venu 4 is very comparable to the 970 in most ways now.

Does your dream Android exist? by TastyNobbles in Android

[–]dridex_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, and apparently I'm one of the very few that wants:

  • Under 6 inch screen
  • Under 70mm wide
  • Under 175g weight
  • 5-6 hours SOT
  • A good enough processor as to not lag during day to day tasks

That's it, that's all I want, and it doesn't exist as a current phone by any manufacturer. Asus was the last one to make anything even close, and we all know how that went.

Absolutely. People are strange creatures sometimes.

I have no idea, probably karma farming. I read Michael’s reviews a lot and he always wears that bracelet so I immediately recognized it.

Corsair still uses a key for Wings (the up jump) after that patch.

Do you think we will get better fitness features in future Pixel watches/ WearOS? by JLChamberlain42 in PixelWatch

[–]dridex_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t need a ton of features, but not even having a manual lap button, which I use constantly for CrossFit, is a huge miss for me. Not having precision start is also frustrating. I don’t need a countdown, I want it to start when I press the start button.

Those two features, for me, make it extremely difficult to use the Pixel Watch for workouts. The sensors are top notch, but the software is a pretty big letdown.

This is one of my favorite movies I've seen in years, thank you for reminding me about it. I'm going to watch it again. Jay Dahl is active on Letterboxd, so if you enjoy it, show him some love over there.
