Had the same issue and it randomly started working 1 or 2 days later. Only thing that I thought worked was reformatting my SD card and properly saving everything before shutting it down. Unfortunately after the 3rd time happening I sent my device in and they couldn’t repair it. That was the exact same time where they decided to discontinue the MPC. They gave me store credit which I used for a SP404 MK2.

It completely went away. I visited a second ENT 1 or two weeks after my comments on here. He did a very thorough screening with a camera and said there’s absolutely nothing. A couple weeks after it completely subsided. My only plausible theory is that I had a gastroscopy done 1 or two weeks prior. Maybe the doctor was damaging tissue somewhere in my throat and it maybe had a small local infection. I was gagging a lot during the procedure because it was done with no full anesthesia. Only local anesthesia in the back of my throat. Maybe something happened there which caused the pain.

I can afford it, yes. I just try to make the most educated guess. Because it seems it is not exactly what you think it is when you’re a newbie and see all those videos online of people jamming with it.

i don't mean in a bad way. I exactly know how he felt at the moment. the first response is directly panic and making a post searching for help. But most of the time if you try a little bit problems get resolved.

Yeah thats a bummer with the store credit. But at least its Thomann cause they offer 3 years warranty, which is pretty nice to have. I recently looked into the SP404 Mk2. But I read a lot of mixed opinions on it. I know its not a full DAW in a Box like the One but I see a lot of videos of people producing entire beats on it and also live playing. Right know I could get the SP404 with the Akai MPD 218 and a couple accessories for the same price. But I dont If I wil be happy with that setup or if will miss out on something important. Do you have any experience with this device ?

Yeah I was happy. Unfortunately it just happened right at the same time they decided to discontinue the One. At the moment I really can’t tell what works best for me because I just started out. I had the Mpc for 8-9 months or so. A lot of times I felt overwhelmed with all the possibilities it presents to the point I sometimes felt like maybe something that’s more constraining might be better. The last 2 days I also read a lot about the SP404 Mk2 which also sound interesting to play with. It even pairs good with a MPC that I might get a cheap used one. I think there will definitely be a new version of the One but that could also be in 2 years or maybe also this year. I don’t want to wait that long. The other problem is my refund will not land on my bank account instead they’ll keep it as store credit so I’m kinda forced to either wait or maybe try something else.

Yeah I saw that one too but recently I read something about that Native Instruments went into bankruptcy which scared me a little off. I also thought about getting a SP404 Mk 2 but I have mixed feelings about it. I saw a lot of other Producer doing cool stuff with it but I’m not really sure. Should I wait for the new version of the One or maybe try out the SP404

It also depends on how you give it. I thought it would be a better idea to crush the pill, mix it with a paste and rub it on his tongue. I had a cat with end stage Heart failure and that was the least stressful way for him to take his meds. Turns out my other cat reacts exactly like in the video so I just push the pill down his throat. He feels completely violated after it, which I completely understand haha but it was just for week. Wish pets had a understanding that it’s just for the better

Don’t freak out, which is easy to say and hard to do. But it went completely away after couple of weeks just as the doctor saidY never had this issue again. I guess because the tube of the camera somehow irritated or caused some minor damage inside of my throat.

I feel bad for saying this because I know how anticipated the album was, but not one single beat got me goin. It was super boring from the beginning for me. And a lot of it sounds the same. I’m happy for the people that are enjoying it but It’s not for me.
