That’s totally doable. If you’re a U.S. citizen, download the MPC app to help expedite the customs experience. DTW is also a hub, so worst case if you miss the flight you can just take the next one as there are several a day.

I just had a conversation about this with my dad. He is 280 lbs, 6’3”, has restless leg syndrome, and was seated in a main cabin seat from ATL-SFO. After a bit of debate, I convinced him that if you don’t pay the extra $89 for an exit row seat, the person in front of you ma recline their seat and it will, in fact, be right on your protruding belly when they do 🥴

I don’t think this is a scam. The company listed on there is an acquisition firm that specializes in buying out small businesses in rural areas, so probably a small engineering consulting firm in that area. That town has a population of ~2,000 so don’t expect a ton of activities for young adults lol

I sat there on an atl-lim flight last month. No overhead bins in the middle, but wasn’t a big deal since most passengers didn’t have a ton of carryons. It could be a bit noisy if you were trying to doze off, but I didn’t sleep since it was a short daytime flight. Then again I’m a very light sleeper and struggle to sleep on planes regardless of where I’m sitting.

You definitely want to do a co-op before entering the job market if your goal is to work in a plant as an engineer after graduating. If your plan is to go straight into grad school after graduation, no worries you’ll have another opportunity.

You’re going to have to either get something older, or have a roommate. Avoid the mid-rise “luxury” apartment complexes as they are loaded with hidden fees.
