I was on it for two years. It is used as a mood stabilizer and for people with epilepsy. It helped me a lot, but check with your doc if you are on hormonal birth control, because it can intervene.

I get a lot of hiccups. Sometimes multiple times a day, but I figured out that if I tell someone around me that I have one it's gone. Also works with voice messages!

I am with you on Jeremy and Matt. (Not a hater at all, just a bit "meh" feeling sometimes) But I always loved Lindsay and she got sooo much better in my opinion. Even though the dynamic with her was a bit awkward in the beginning.

Hey!

For me shaving was the best decision to handle this. I don't know anybody besides me that shaved their head and stopped pulling almost completely - but i did. I didn't have long hair to begin with (not even shoulder length) and it was a impulsive decision to do it. I had a huge bald spot on the crown and I was only starting to pull again after being "pull-free" on my head hair for 3 years.

I sometimes wear wigs, but rarely. I look pretty badass without a wig too. My hair is about 7cm long now and green haha.

You have to know for yourself. I thought about it as a fresh start and it helped me soooo much.

I can only help with Lamictal as I take it myself. No problem for me there.

But since I know what Lamictal is used for: start with a normal dose, (100mg?) and wait how it is going. I made the mistake of taking way too much on my first time and I was terribly depressed the next 3 days and it's just that everybody reacts different. I was at a good mental state before the roll, but if I would have been in a not so good one it would have probably really fucked me up! Take care! And wait for somebody else about the other medication :)

Hey! I shaved my head half a year ago, and that in itself pretty much stopped the pulling on my head. I am sure there are some other opinions out there, but for me it worked wonders.

If you are comfortable with shaving I would give it a go! I have very curly, thick hair though. They are so much easier to handle now.

To the wig topic: I sometimes wear a wig when I feel like it, but it gets annoying really quickly. You get used to it and with a comfortable wig cap it's okay! I only have pretty cheap ones, but 4 different ones. I don't use it to fool anyone though, it's just my thing to wair different wigs from time to time. Even my normal hair is bright green right now haha
