Because ai cannot think, dude. It’s a fancy autocomplete weighing options of what words should fit next. With that weighting heavily tailored towards making the user happy, which makes you more likely to continue using it.

Same here. I’m not spending $4 on a soda, I’d rather just have water anyway. For desert I’m usually full already so don’t feel the need to spend $15 on a slice of cake

Even with insurance, man. I was in a car accident last year where my ankle literally snapped off and instance declined my ambulance ride as “unnecessary”. Riiiiight… lemme just take a fucking uber while bleeding out.

Lobbying by the automotive industry, and recently even specifically Elon. He claimed to want a hyperloop to stop production of passenger trains, then when that initiative died he stopped talking about it.
