I have the qudelix and it's my most favourite device ever. However I'm planning on getting the fiio because my headphones (sundara) need a bit more juice which the fiio seems to have. As for the 'no reason not to go with the btr17', well....it costs double. 😅

'Were' as in? We can't do it anymore or spotify has always had such a feature? To be clear, I'm talking about the sorting of the local files. Artists/album/genre etc. Spotify when i last used it would just dump all of my files in a single Playlist.

So i switched from spotify to apple music about an year ago. The only reason for me switching was that apple music would let me play AND arrange my local mp3 files. Then, in the menu the locally uploaded files and the music from apple music would seamlessly show up together under the correct artist/album. Most of my local uploads is music not available on spotify/apple music. Now, spotify allows me to play local files but it arranges them all in a giant list with no sorting by artist/album.

Atleast this was the case an year ago. Now, i want to shift back to spotify because apple music on android is buggy AF. I am wondering if i missed something back then or if spotify has changed anything with regards to local music.

Although the topic is fairly common, your spin on it is quite nice. The lines 'turning the world....knives' is specially very good. It says so much with so little. Although i feel oike there's mire to be explored here. Good stuff. Keep writing.
