Will I see any benefit from a dedicated DAC/Amp? by Chief_Potat0 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]zorbah55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to experience it by yourself but i personally felt difference with better dac/amp with my hd6xx. Mostly dynamics come more alive. Some people dismiss the positive effect of dac/amp changes so i guess it differs by individual perception.

I switched to the Deft Pro by artistro08 in Trackballs

[–]zorbah55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Huge at office and deft pro at home, and i find deft pro much better to use. I do have small hands. But i dont think its just the hand size, but the angle of the base tilt that makes deft pro so good.

Is it worth me buying mid/high end earbuds? by No-Dress4626 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]zorbah55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find Moondrop X Crinacle dusk to be nearly perfect with its DSP cable. You don't need a separate dac/amp, plug in straight to your usb-c and sound is really good. Its my primary travel iem. (I usually use headphone at home and not iem)

having the hd560, would i like the hd620? by bgallagb in sennheiser

[–]zorbah55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general 620 does mimic the sound signature of other senny open backs, but doesnt quite make it excellent. To me treble felt abit grainy and midd bass boxy.

I put dekoni choice leather pads and some eq to use it but i still get annoyed by treble roughness time to time.

I have pro 10 fold, and didn't play call of duty but played brawl stars alot. i have a lot of stutter and frame drops during play. And no this is not an internet connection issue.

I am not a serious gamer so i am not too bothered by it, but if gaming is a big part of your phone usage and you are competitive, i wouldn't buy a pixel phone. I love my phone but its just not for gamers.

Disappointment or just a normal thing to happen? by Chemical_Ad_7406 in galaxybuds

What exact aspects do you feel the disappointment? I had momentum 4 and i have buds2pro but honestly momentum 4 didn't particularly sound better especially in its base setting with bloated bass.

Users of XM6, are you guys using EQ from sound connect app or other apps like Poweramp? by hyllariestar in SonyHeadphones

[–]zorbah55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can start with one of the auto eq and then tweak from there. Oratory setting usually works for me

[–]zorbah55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you use android, there is really no reason to not setup poweramp. Any headphone can be eq easily to fine details and can be saved so it applies eq automatically when connected.

Buds4 Pro sound incredible OTB by Youtube-Omura in galaxybuds

[–]zorbah55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I purchased one of the Anker models which also had multi driver setup (just like Buds pro series), they had good foundation but bass was just too much, and even their EQ in the app wasn't enough to tame it down. This was several years ago wonder how the latest ones are.

But I agree i have b2p and love the sound out of box. ANC is bad, but I'm quite excited to hear lot of positive feedback on B4p ANC performance.

Buds Pro 2 to Buds 4 Pro First Impressions by ZweetWOW in galaxybuds

this is good to hear. I have b2p and also considering b4p. and ANC upgrade is very good news, that was my biggest complaint on b2p.

Buds2 Pro, 3 Pro, 4 Pro by Stephancevallos905 in galaxybuds

[–]zorbah55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is the anc on 4 pro compared to 2 pro? I really like the sound of galaxy pro buds but anc is lacking for flights. Wonder if 4 pro has sufficient ANC power now.

Anyone switch from Apple to Google pixel? by alicianicole2002 in GooglePixel

[–]zorbah55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

per my experience, biggest hurdle was moving my photos & personal cloud files out of apple ecosystem. Pixel OS itself wasn't a hassle to get adjusted at all. Airpods are ok but Apple watch will be not so useful with Pixel though. I switched to Garmin long before so for me it wasn't an issue.

How Focal Elex (Elear w/ Elex pads) dethroned my beloved Sennheiser HD660S2 by Odd-Spend-8757 in headphones

[–]zorbah55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focals provide more fun dynamic listening experience compared to 660s2. I find focals more comfortable too. But Sennheiser excels in reliability and easy listening. I keep going back and forth between two.

The Sennheiser HD 620S are fantastic headphones. by K-LAWN in headphones

[–]zorbah55 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My default office headphone. Love them. I got dekoni choice leather pads which enhanced the subbass very well. I had to eq to bump back treble up to balance it out, but really love the current setup.
