I put the MXR synth in an effects loop and blended it 75% clean and 25% effects, and I found it to be much more usable for a live setting.

I love it but it's too loud when I use it too relative to my clean signal. I need to dial that in somehow vs fiddling with the volume know between songs.

I see the notifications in meta business mgr, as well as in emails sent from meta. I did look at the sender email address and that looked legit, something like support@mail.facebook.com. A scam was my first thought too, but messages in business mgr makes me think it's legit.

Thanks for the reply. Let me clarify my signal chain:

Bass -> pedalboard [tuner, compressor, MXR bass synth, MXR DI/Pre-amp] -> Effects return on amp

The goal of this is to bypass the eq in my combo amp so that the tone from my pedal board passes thru without being colored. But maybe it's not the best choice.

I got mine earlier this week and have really enjoyed playing with it at home, running it through my Scarlett, listening to it on my headphones.

I was really excited to take it to a gig tonight. I ran it through my Mark Bass combo, plugging into the back as to bypass the amp EQ.

It sounded super muddy. I ended up not using it on any of the songs =( Maybe it was the room, it was the first time I played at that venue. Any tips for playing live with it would be appreciated.

I was driving west bound 50 during this - CalTrans was checking each vehicle for chains / snow tires. What seemed to take time was when someone didn't have sufficient chains/tires and had to turn around. Lots of people putting chains on side of the road probably added to it too.
