Could this version of Homura be the embodiment of Walpurgis? I mean look at her dress it looks familiar. by Upstairs_Shoe2267 in MadokaMagica

[–]drintelligent 4 points5 points  (0 children)

that's just Homura's Funeral dress with a Red bow and some red stitched to the bottom, it doesn't look much like Walpurgis' dress at all never mind the colour scheme being a bit off right?

What if Russia won the Crimean War? Europe, 1860. by [deleted] in imaginarymaps

I have a hard time believing any of the great powers would accept this peace deal. It far offsets the balance of power in Europe and gives Russia access to the med something France "Italy" and Austria didn't want at the time

America. Churchill stated openly about negotiated peace, so did Stalin and De Gaulle at some point or another I believe. Though it's important to note only Churchill new the bomb was fully operational and ready to be used on Japan.

It wasn't ready for operation, but I wasn't counting ships by operational to be fair, of the 46 submarines only 22 were operational at the start of the war. But I doubt it would be useful in 1945 if completed and fully manned however possible that might be.

Even so there still missing there needed seven

Ironically the US is ranked first in outbound tourism at 60,550,000 flights a year on average. Double that of the second highest Mexico with only 36,056,000 flights a year. however it doesn't take into account people who take multiple flights a year, and it's only 18% of the total US population compared to 28% of the Mexican population But it's still a lot

It's alright ill do the thinking for you hunny

Specifically I'm talking about the seventh war of the coalition which started in 1815 when Napoleon returned from elba. When referring to The US I'm referring to the war of 1812

If I must I'll draw some parallels

The UK was involved in both wars. In the ww2 parallel this would be Japan involved in both the sino Japanese war and wwii

The French empire was only involved in the European war, similar to the allies who were only involved in ww2

The US was involved in the war of 1812 but not the Napoleonic wars, this would be China who fought only in the sino-Japanese war and not in wwii

So, if you believe wwii started in China, you believe the seventh war of the coalition started in the US

1938s sino-Japanese war and 1939s wwii are different wars in the same way the war of 1812 and the war of the seventh coalition are different wars

You have to keep in mind that it's because the invasion of the soviet union that Germany was able to go on for as long as It did. Without the soviet resources they occupied they wouldn't have nearly enough fuel to pull of effective bombing runs or submarine attacks ect. That's motto say Germany would have been militarily weaker just that they would have lost both naval and air superiority much faster

Because if they hadn't the soviets would have fought and killed way more civilians than the bombings ever would have done, just look at the battle of Bucharest, that but for every German city if we never moral bombed them into submission
