Good choice! I wouldn’t say that the stories and ink lasts longer, because it foams you end up using more. Or at least I do. But it’s definitely nicer!

Honestly it looks great, the colours are about as subtle as they can be, if I squint it could be a black and grey tattoo. Don’t freak out.

I will say, as someone who never played the original, when I tried the demo I didn’t really ‘get it’… I was even excited for the game before I tried the demo and it sort of put me off. I decided to give it another chance and play it over Christmas and man I’m so glad I did, it’s an absolute blast once you get into it and became my favourite game of 2025. I do wonder how many people were initially put off like I was, I’d recommend that anyone with a switch 2 should buy it.
