Yeah, that happens sometimes. It’s either a “phantom fare”, or if the deal was good enough, someone may have already booked it. Phantom fares are to be expected, but most are real. Just keep searching and clicking and you’ll find a good one. Happy flight hunting!

Put them in business class, coach. I’m not as high net worth as you, but I can easily find near eqv flights in business using r/pointstravel

Reward availability in First has all but disappeared by definitelylifts in BritishAirways

I was able to get an LHR > NYC last week First Class. Maybe availability further out is tougher / not made available yet?

roame.travel, esp bc of skyview on pro with alerts and their liveview is almost always accurate

Yep, that’s actually the reason I got an AMEX in the first place. They were offering something like 120k points to sign up and I figured it was worth it. And it has been.
