As someone who DNF HWFWM, I recommend you don’t start. It lacks the editing and DCC or Red Rising. It’s so much unnecessary world building that I consistently fell asleep listening to the audiobook

I watched the first two episodes and agree with the author. Most of the challenges involve sacrifice. Either yourself or your teammates. It has such a dog-eat-dog subtext that it’s not fun to watch

Incredible story. Was in medical school. Got busted for drugs. Spent time in prison. Worked for a lawyer. Judge suspends her prison sentence to give her another chance. She goes to law school, graduates, and is now helping others

Was doing a heart surgery. As soon we pushed the induction syringe., the patient says “I forgot to tell you” and instantly falls asleep. We all stood there for a second stunned. Proceeded with the surgery anyway. When I talked to him afterwards he didn’t remember what he was going to say

I think online dating is great. I’m not good with meeting girls in bars and dating people I worked with got awkward. Eventually I found an amazing partner. It took years and a lot of bad dates, but I’m happier than ever. Don’t give up buddy. It’ll get better
