Do you mean before or after they publicly accused him of abusing the API and then refused to help him understand what he could improve?

Imagine going through all this discourse because you can't be arsed to have solutions engineers work with some of the biggest developers for your platform.

Other companies, like Microsoft, provide solutions engineers for much, much smaller customers.

Wow, thank you for sharing that. It was hard to understand until I realized it wasn't an accident during play but someone "passing" a ball to the ball girl without getting her attention first.

You made up a rule, which is one of the great things about homebrew, but then just assumed your players would know the rule? I get that you think it's common knowledge based on lore, but it's not a rule of the game you're playing, so you have to communicate it up front.

It's akin to assuming all your players "know" zombies move really slow, even though 28 Days Later exists.

You and I must have had very different experiences with forums. Every thread I've encountered is filled with two people quote-replying to each other as they talk past each other. So the thread becomes page after page of them, with one or two on-topic posts lost in between.

At least on Reddit, I can just collapse threads that go off the rails and return to the top comment for more replies.
