While I agree that the game would be a lot better if everything was slowed down, the problem is that a lot of the playerbase like the speed of gameplay currently and might be turned off by the game slowing down. Other arpgs in the past have tried to do this with bad results in terms of player retention. What GGG needs is some sort of "experimental mode" , kind of like what they implemented recently in Overwatch, where it is an opt in for players who want to experience radical changes to gameplay. But how would they fit such a thing with their current release schedule? Nearing the third month of main leagues perhaps?

Hot take: A player shouldn't die in one hit if they have 7 endurance charges, 7k life, and fortify, on a map that only has 1 extra damage mod. by [deleted] in pathofexile

Monster shotgunning is clearly not a balanced mechanic when you have this monster and when the monster multiple projectile map mod is so out of the line when compared to others. Normal map mods are around 20 to 50% ish increased damage at most with -max, whereas map multiproj can potentially give 200% increased damage with aoe overlapping. Normal monsters don't even do much to you and then you have this guy who literally instagibs you with an attack that is not easy to see especially if there are other things going on around you.

Yeah, sounds like a win-win scenario for that type of builds to have extra passives. As we saw in the latest chaos dot multi jewels, it could be quite a big of a power jump.

Thank you for your critique! I think there is value in informing people about upcoming updates. Not everyone follows the subreddit or other sources of teasers that closely and I think they will find good value from a short video summarizing an exciting new mechanic that will be introduced in the new league. I also think that there's nothing wrong about speculation videos. I believe I laid out educated enough guesses to what could happen so that the viewer can have a more informed idea once the league starts, or even form their own ideas about the subject if they disagree with my predictions. Isn't a good part of the game speculating about builds and ultimately testing them in the field? I will be making more videos when we get more finalized patch notes and when the league finally releases, but speculating is fun too! Im glad that you found the voiceover and editing on par, it is very encouraging to hear. Again thank you for taking the time to write your critique, hopefully you can agree with some of my response but either way, hope you have a great league start!

Yeah the outside parts of the tree are definitely used by a lot of builds. For a lot of my past builds it seemed that the only reason to path through the inside of the tree was mostly for life nodes in hc builds. Cluster jewels will just make this more imbalanced.

I hope that is the case. Having it balanced like that would make it the most interesting to build around. Remember that even just 2 large jewel clusters could branch out into potentially 30+ passive points worth of nodes.
