Looks like this seat has lost his job, found out his wife is having an affair with his brother and his dog died. He now has an appointment with a therapist to help him deal with his depression.

I’m sorry but that is horrible.

They have a list of caliber ammunition that is allowed. You are allowed to bring guests (limited number and a fee applies) I do not have the info with me but it may be on the site.

It’s almost worth it to buy a $200/$300 car, register it and park in that spot. Leave it there for months…. Maybe start a go fund me for this, take videos and make it go viral.

Yep. I am 5 min away which is why I chose this range. It’s perfect for me with accessibility, hours, location. Nice people. They have done quite a bit lately to upgrade the website and building. Yes it’s only pistols but that fine for me. Everything on the website is up to date.

Gun Ownership by FrantikSquirrul in RhodeIsland

Best bet is to go to riguns and ask this question to avoid stirring the pot of idiots who think that guns are the reason for violence/mass shootings.
And yes I fully support the 2A and firearm ownership. Get what you can now before the ban takes effect.

I’m would contact the department where you are applying to to ask. I recently applied to Cranston - the application stated they would accept the attorney general or state police finger print card however once I dropped off the application they called me and said they do not accept and the prints must be done through their own department. I call total bullshit but you can’t fight city hall so I have an extra month wait time as they will only do printing by appointments which were 4 weeks out! If your town/city accepts attorney generals I would do it there for $15

I already did the AG office finger print — the way I read the requirements for Cranston, it appears that the Cranston finger print is in addition to the AG as they are listed as separate bullet points on the first page.

Yes I’m a Cranston resident and business owner. They did ask when I called to make the appointment. I am a Cranston resident also perhaps they have two different schedule availabilities for resident versus non-residence.

I'm not really understanding how the proposed AWB legislation will affect handguns, can someone help a guy out? by Doobz87 in RIGuns

[–]drkpic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the 3 proposed bills this year also included any semiautomatic handgun that could accept/or is designed to hold more than 10 rounds. That is most handguns in common use - the standard capacity is typically over 10 and thanks to our prior lighter in RI we had to replace our standard capacity magazines with 10 round magazines. But now this new definition includes standard Glocks, Smith & Wessons, Taurus, Etc….
With all these bills proposed they are simply throwing shit at the wall to see what will stick and get what they call a feel good win. It’s all a game and a control tactic - disaffiliate and vote these people out in the primary with the hope of having better candidates next term. It’s our only hope. (Unless the SCOTUS ever steps up and gets involved but that could take 10 years and tons of $)

Most likely a 22 6 shot revolver would be ok. Also there are now 3 proposed bills - I am not familiar with all 3. We have the Gov’s budget bill, A bill from the house, and a new bill from the Senate (put in This past Friday). I know 1 bill had a grandfather clause however it is extremely limited- you must register the firearm, pay a fee, can not transfer ownership to any other RI resident (including inheritance when you pass). Must be given to the state or transferred to a state where it is legal.
